Episode 1 The night we met
The sound of heavy rain echoed through the night...
...
A mysterious woman, cloaked in black from head to toe, walked to a pile of trash bins. She placed a newborn baby inside a small box in a corner sheltered from the rain.
...
After a brief, nervous glance around, she quickly walked away and disappeared into the night...
Later, a group of three working women who were roommates happened to walk by.
...
They often took this route home after a night out celebrating the end of their workday. The three women lived together in a large house, each with their own separate rooms.
...
As they were walking, Jenny, one of the group, noticed something unusual. She spotted a box near the trash bins that seemed to move slightly. Curious, she stopped and alerted her friends.
...
"Hey! Wait a second. Look over there. Doesn’t that box look strange to you?" Jenny said, her voice filled with curiosity.
"Oh! The box is moving!" the other two exclaimed in unison, startled.
The three of them cautiously approached and opened the box together.
!!!
...
Inside, they found a baby girl with the most adorable face, lying quietly. The baby, who had been crying moments ago, stopped and smiled brightly at the sight of the three women.
The women stood there in shock, exchanging glances.
...
"What should we do now?" Jenny asked.
"We can’t leave such an adorable baby like this. The world is too cruel for her to face alone," Rose said, her voice filled with compassion.
"Who would abandon their own child like this? What kind of heartless person could do such a thing?" Jonga said angrily.
"We should take her in temporarily. Meanwhile, we’ll try to find her real mother and return her when we do," Jenny suggested.
...
The other two nodded in agreement.
They decided to take the baby back to their house together.
...
"Well, this is no small responsibility. None of us have ever taken care of a baby before," Jenny remarked.
"Haha, you’re right. I think we should divide the responsibilities," Jonga suggested with a grin.
"Alright, I’ll handle bathing her and dressing her up," Jonga volunteered enthusiastically.
"Then I’ll take care of teaching her new things and helping her learn," Rose added.
"Fine by me. I’ll handle cooking for her. After all, I am the best cook in this house," Jenny said with a playful smirk.
"Sure, whatever you say," the other two teased in unison, laughing.
Jenny playfully nudged them in response.
"Ouch! That hurt!" Jonga and Rose exclaimed together.
The three women laughed heartily, and even the baby seemed to join in, giggling for no apparent reason other than seeing them laugh.
...
"Look at her! She’s laughing too," Jenny said, smiling warmly.
"She must be having the time of her life watching us," Rose added, chuckling.
"She’s such a cutie. I bet she’s going to charm her way into our hearts someday," Jonga said, laughing softly.
"We can’t let that happen. You both know who we are and what we need to do. Once we find her mother, we have to give her back," Jenny said, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness...
