Dead to the world

As Mira walk past the bar at night she hears footsteps behind her and when she turns to see there was nothing, afraid she started to run and while running she bumped into Addison who was coming from the office "what's wrong Ms why are running?"she asked but the scared Mira said nothing"can you please walk with me home?" she said to Addison, she was puzzled by what the lady told her many questions ariesed in her mind but she pushed the questions away, she's probably scared of the creature that everyone says kills anyway it didn't come across me if it did it'll be scared of me, she thought to herself but while they were going they got to know each other but when they reached the dark and gloomy hallway they both felt like they were being watched so they both started to run and a half human, half creature started chasing them. Addison grabbed Mira by the hand and hid under the table like thing and there both of them held their breath, I can't believe that thing is real and I'm scared of it?no this is not how I am I'm fearless I have to do something, Addison thought to herself,"stay here" she whispers to Mira "no don't go please"Mira tries to stop her but she was too stubborn, she slowly get out of the table looking for the creature "hello.....mister creature..."she calls but when the creature came rushing behind her to kill her Mira came in the way of it and she was killed instead and the creature run off. Addison knelt down beside Mira who was on the verge of dying "no... why did you do that"she cried out but Mira could only whisper"Take care of my mom...."with that her eyes shut close, Addison called an ambulance but they were too late. ADDISON'S P.O.V she died because of me I'm responsible for her death I'm to blame.... and her mother? I have to find her, while I was thinking the police officer brought me back to reality"so you're staying you don't know the killer?"the police Man asked me and I shook my head"no... I didn't see his face clearly it was a monster..."I kept saying that but no one believed me until they saw the body and the marks on it only then did they realize that once again the creature. which was referred to as the mysterious killer killed another person, but I knew that the creature came for me. Days passed and I went back to the office but I was constantly Disturbed by the police always interrogating me since I was the eye witness and I decided to investigate my own case or at least that's what I thought but my arrogant boss refused"no Addison you can't you can't take on this case "he cried out"but why I mean I can do this please Amon "I pleaded but he's just as stubborn as always"no Addison.... no"with that he walks away.
