"Will they be returning?" I was scared to learn that the three Alphas of the pack, who had always made my life a living hell, were coming back.
I squeezed my eyelids and forced myself to take a deeper breath, breathing more slowly. All of the memories of the three Alphas that I had to repress for three years suddenly flashed through my head.
"It is unbelievable that I am getting into this problem again!" With discomfort, I bit on the corner of my lower lip and muttered something to myself.
Years ago, the Alpha and Luna of the Pack that I was now a part of took me in. But from what I would heard, my parents were killed by some outlaws, and they did not tell me who the Pack was. When they took me in when I was six years old, I was ecstatic to have a home and family.
I had high hopes, but they crushed them when they made me work hard the first day and brought me into the house.
Shattering my dreams, they told me that because I was an Omega, the only thing I could do for them was work as a slave, which is why they had taken me in the first place.
Even worse, their only child, Steffan, would frequently torment me both at home and at school. David and Joel, two of his friends, helped him make fun of me.
Out of the three strongest packs, they were the youthful alphas.
They were the complete opposite of what people thought they were when they first saw them; they were lovely, maybe the sweetest individuals on the planet. Their eyes gleamed like canary diamonds, and they were all extremely gorgeous and handsome. I do not think it was ethical to slaughter all those devils because they were much worse than the devil. The purpose of building Prime Gate Academy was to bring the three strong but opposing Packs together.
In an effort to stop the bloodshed and animosity amongst Rocket City's three strongest packs, legislation mandating that all members attend the same school was passed.
Everyone was subject to this regulation! When school started, Steffan, David, and Joel showed up. They were treated with such respect all the time and were regarded as gods in the school, even though they were used as props.
They were arrogant, but ladies flocked to them like bees, and boys desired to be among them. They were the most popular kids in school.
They would constantly pick on me and make fun of me for their own amusement. They used to make me dance to heavy metal songs that they played. If I did not dance, one of their women would constantly strike me.
I did not like any of them at all and I hated them all. I was the weird kid who sat by myself in the school cafeteria, so everyone avoided me like I had a disease. When they did not stay away from me, they used to pick on me, hurl objects at me, and even dump their leftovers on me.
Steffan, David, and Joel would watch everything happen with smug expressions on their faces. What more could I have asked of them, because they were the ones who made it possible for it to happen?
I just wanted to get out of this place and go somewhere else to start again since all they saw in me was something to toy with. Regards.
But my horror ended when something unexpected happened and shocked everyone. David, an art aficionado, and Steffan, a fandom favourite, got into a brawl that was so bad that it sent both of them to the hospital.
David had accused Steffan of killing his ex when he saw Charlotte in Steffan's car and the two of them got into an accident. David was angry with Steffan because, although knowing that Steffan was not well, he thought he was, and because Charlotte had died in the terrible car crash. Steffan manufactured an accident and said Charlotte died in the horrifying car crash because she would not comply, all in an effort to keep Charlotte and him apart. According to him, Steffan's position in the driver's seat prevented him from avoiding the crash. The person in the passenger seat had a better chance of surviving.
There were several debates amongst the three strongest Packs on the claims. David even made Joel answer for helping Steffan break up with his long-term girlfriend, the only woman he had ever truly loved.
After that, everyone departed from Beacon Hill and went their separate ways. David, Steffan, and Joel were all sent to study overseas.
The thought of them coming back was too much for me at this point since I knew it would be the start of the nightmare I have been trying to get out of. I hated the boys so much that all I wanted was for the meeting to go horribly wrong and for them to go back to where they used to be. More than anything, I genuinely wish they never discovered who I was.
Not long after I walked inside, someone threw a cup at me. My knees finally gave out and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. However, I was aware that if I stumbled, I would provide her with a chance to seize me.
You w***e's son, how are you doing? I had been waiting for you." The Luna could not keep her hands off the masterfully played piano as she yelled as loudly as she could. She was that passionate about one thing exclusively.
I swallowed the swelling lump in my throat and slowed down to gather up the pieces.
I suppressed my pride, knowing better than anyone that if I did not answer her, it would only lead to further issues for me.
"I was in class, working on my assignments. The teacher said I could not go until I completed my task." I stumbled. She abruptly stopped riffing on the piano and looked up at me. My heart was racing out of fear. She examined me with chilly eyes.
You are such a dirty liar! You did not even show up for class today.
You promised me that you would not eat anything this afternoon unless you completed almost all of your homework, but you lied to me. You should be happy that I am letting you off easy and that I am in a good mood." She screamed at me as I flung what was in my hands into the nearest trash can.
"I appreciate your kindness towards me." I bowed down to her and muttered something under my breath.
She rolled her eyes to the back and looked at me again.
I knew she was calling David and Joel losers when she said, "My son Steffan would be back tonight with the scumbags who made him leave in the first place." Even though everyone was basically the same, she thought she was better than them all.
