Joy chimed, as she walked in to the door, greeting her son with quite the jovial look covering her face.
“Oh! I am so happy and proud of you that you are finally going to achieve your dreams.”
She stated, as she leapt ahead and hugged Adrian, who also embraced her back.
“Thanks Mom!”
He stated, as he took in a deep breath and broke their little hug away. “I wouldn’t have done it without you and your support.”
Joy pressed her lips tightly with a smile, as she gently patted Adrian’s cheek with one hand, while her other rubbed over his fingers as Adrian held on to his mother’s hand, ever so gently.
“Oh, please Adrian! You did everything on your own. You worked so hard to be where you are. I am so happy feeling this selfish for the first time in my life. I am beyond myself just thinking
