Adrian leaned down, placing his hand on the back rest of the brown leather seat, entrapping Diana within his arms. Diana tried getting up but to no vail, as Adrian pushed his weight down on to her, making her submerge herself in to her couch. She swallowed a hard lump of anxiety formed in the middle of her throat, pushing it down and fighting it. She was trying hard to fight her anxiety that grew with every passing fold as Adrian daunted her and intimidated her. “I am not talking about your father’s death. It is the other part that you lied about… us meeting two years ago? What was that? why did you defend me? why did you take my side in the board meeting? What game are you trying to play with me?” Diana groaned, as she mustered up all the courage inside of her and pushed Adrian away
