Diana gasped, as she turned around and found Maria holding her hand; the Sarmiento family’s head of housekeeping staff, who was in charge of keeping the flow of matters around the house in check. Diana’s eyes bulged out, noticing how the woman was just the same as she was ten years ago, except she had turned chubbier which made her seem shorter than she already was. Her five feet stature, never complimented well with her chubby figure on top of which she used to sleekly pull her hair back in a tight gel ridden bun. The grey streaks in her hair had grown to become more prominent and the age lines around her eyes and her lips had become more prominent than they used to be ten years ago. Her tanned skin somehow had been house by small melanin spots that encircled her cheeks on each side.
