New Destiny

The Alpha walked back into a deserted home, it was cold, old and cranky and the roofing of the house was half torn apart and abnormal. A place, no matter how wretched was all he needed, nothing more. He began taking steps forward, his wounds were now completely healed and he had to full strength to walk again. Ryder never noticed the change in the colour of his eyes, and the change his body felt since earlier before he had bitten Kathleen. The only things deep Into his heart were his people, father and girlfriend. Inhaling the air, the Alpha sniffed the surroundings as his head gradually turned first to the left, then to the right. There weren't any humans. He began walking towards the house, his movements were slow at first just to be careful enough, but when he had gotten to the wooden door which looked worn out, his ears which were relaxed suddenly opened up sharply like that of a sunflower that had just bloomed newly in order to hear movements from far distance. He held unto the faint door knob that looked old and completely out of shape and turned it to open up the door. He walked in and took a seat in the old wooden chair in what looked like a tiny living room, tightly shutting his eyes to relax and think further. ~Mira, can you hear me?~ He called trying to mindlink her, but there was no response. The cold wind outside was stronger as it passed through the window and swept against his bare face. Ryder instantly opened his eyes, and when his eyes turned red, he sensed danger, he could hear screams and just Immediately he fell to the ground in a thud. "Father," He called, trying to lift himself up, but his inner wolf wasn't taking his ignorance for an answer. "Listen to me, don't you get it. I need to go save my father, and my people" He cried out. His eyes widened and when he looked around, he could see clearer and farther distances than before. ~You're going to lead a new pack soon~ His inner wolf comforted him and just as he laid on the floor, his claws began scratching the wood showing his anger and power. Realizing he had finally become an Alpha only meant one thing, his father was gone( dead), or if he had been an Alpha the moment he felt that great power surged through his body, then the moon goddess had chosen him earlier to lead a new pack. ~You're already too late, we can't do anything more~ His inner wolf said again. In anger, he sped out of the house, but immediately he got outside the house, a great bright light shone brightly on him, and he was forcefully pushed back into the house by an unknown but powerful force which he wasn't able to control. Ryder sneered, and lifted his head, his anger taking the better part of him and he kept refusing the cries and warning of his inner wolf. His eyes turned red, his claws dug deeper and sharper scratching the old wood on the floor. Though he wasn't completely turned into a wolf, he stood on all four like a wolf as he kept showing his large fangs and breathing hard. His movement like that of a wolf was slow at first, but seconds later, he jumped so high, enough for him to get outside the house once. As he landed on the floor, he was pushed back into the house, this time, with greater force making him hit his back roughly on the wall and then, to the ground he fell. ~Wait for the right time to leave~ His inner wolf finally said and remained quiet after that. •••• The early morning rays of the sun shone brightly and penetrated into Kathleen's room almost blinding her and disturbing her peaceful sleep. Unable to continue sleeping, she stood up and quickly grabbed her phone from the table to check Curtis message. "I'll come pick you up, ten sharp" "See you then," Kathleen replied and hurried Into the bathroom to have her bath. Just as she was about opening the door, she heard a loud cellphone ring startling her, as she was the owner of the cellphone ringing. Trying to ignore what she heard, Kathleen walked Into the bathroom, but could suddenly hear her dad's voice as though he was sitting right night to her instead of far beyond several walls and dozen feets away. His conversation, she could clearly hear everything. Every bit of word he uttered and could also hear her mom breathing, her aunt snoring while also making funny noises. Frightened, she covered her ear tightly, trying to totally ignore what just happened and quickly turned on the showers. About thirty minutes later, Kathleen walked out with a towel tied on her body and stood close to a mirror. Seconds later, she walked further to pick up her dresses and makeups. Ryder slowly opened his eyes and stood up from the cold floor where he had laid. The door which he was sure was fully opened last night was shut and as he walked forward to open it, he feared he might be pushed away again by an unknown force. Touching the door knob, he slightly turned it and opened the door slowly at first, before completely opening it wide enough. The sun was brighter than usual, and Ryder did feel like he needed to hurry back to his pack and check on his father, Mira and people. She had promised to protect their people and come for him. Although he wanted to put his faith in those words, he suddenly felt like they were all lies. Lies to save him. Taking his first few steps out was successful and nothing surprising or painful happened while he walked out of the house. He looked around and began heading back into the woods. At the outskirts of the woods Ryder stood and inhaled deeply looking to his right at first, then his left. He sped into the woods without making a stop anywhere till he got to their residence. As Ryder began taking his steps forward, his eyes met the lifeless body of his father. In pain, he ran up to his father's body and went on his knees drawing his father's head closer to his side. "Who did this to you, father?" Ryder asked no one in particular as he was the only person alive there. He looked around to see the lifeless body of other wolves and just suddenly realized Mira's body wasn't among. First of all, he carried his father's body, as his father was the Alpha of the pack( former Alpha) and arranged some woods into steps making it look like a bed and gently placed his father's body on it along with his head. "I promise you father, I'll find them. I'll find and kill everyone of them painfully." Ryder swore and then in tears, set his father on fire watching his body burn peacefully. After searching and searching, Mira's body wasn't among. Although it did make him a bit happy, but then, he wasn't sure yet and decided to go look for her. Dried blood which stained the grasses were everywhere as he walked. Luckily he could strongly perceive her scents, but something was off. The strong smell of wolfsbane filled the air too. Ryder sped, following her scents and finally stopped at the house he had met Kathleen before. He walked in slowly leaving the door opened. His eyes widened and turned red immediately they saw Mira's lifeless body chained roughly. He ran towards her, breaking the chains from her body and as her body fell on his arms, Ryder screamed so much raising his head towards the ceiling with tears freely falling from his eyes. A great urge to tear every single Hunter, including humans alive into pieces filled his eyes. He lifted her body up in his arms and walked outside to have it buried instead of burning it. After gathering enough stones and burying her, Ryder fell on his knees right before her grave like the world had crumbled on him, like he had no reason to live anymore. Just immediately he closed his eyes while sitting close to her grave, he heard strange words. ~Go find your Beta~ The strange voice uttered forcing him to open his eyes again.
