Three days passed, and I didn’t leave the room once. I remained in bed, barely moving except when I absolutely had to use the bathroom. Even then, I waited until my bladder was on the verge of bursting before forcing myself to get up. Everly made numerous attempts to encourage me to eat, reminding me that I was eating for two now. However, I simply couldn’t stomach anything. It wasn’t until the fourth day that I suddenly sat up, overcome by a sudden chill. It dawned on me what I needed to do. My wolf was in agreement with me before I even spoke about my plan. With determination, I made my way to Everly’s closet. She had allowed me to borrow some of her clothes, so I hoped she wouldn’t mind if I borrowed a few more.
