I was at the top of my game today. Nothing seemed to get on my nerves or stress me out. The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t spend the day with Amber. I had a few meetings with the councils, and it was clear there was no hiding the fact that Amber and I had marked each other—they now officially had a new queen. Well, almost officially. I’d promised the council I would hold a ceremony where Amber would be presented, but I also made it clear that from now on, they were to stay out of our business and that any future heirs would be our decision alone.
