“Hey!” I looked over my shoulder and spotted Everly in the room Ronan and I shared.
“Hey,” I greeted.
“So, I hear we’re attending a party tonight.”
“You’re coming?” I asked, suddenly excited.
I still didn’t want to go to the ball the council had invited Ronan to, but knowing Everly would be there too made the whole night seem much better.
She shrugged. “Well, I might just want to stir up a little trouble,” she remarked.
“Oh, please say you do!” I pressed my hands together in a pleading manner, which caused her to laugh.
“I see you’re starting to take up some space,” she observed as she entered the walk-in closet and glanced around.
