The sun once more left the sky, giving way to the night, and as the moonlight streamed inside, I woke slowly. Stretching, I heard my back crack with satisfaction, and I moaned in delight. Despite the slight discomfort I felt from sleeping on the couch, I felt strangely refreshed. When was the last time I’d felt this rested? As I took my time waking up fully, I looked around the room and noticed a neat stack of clean clothes on the couch in front of me.
