CHAPTER X. “THE INVASION OF THE KINGDOM OF KATASTREFO”

My eyes closed and and my lips is winding up -- I’m smiling, ready to die. 

Then I heard a nonstop thunderclaps from above. Next, I heard a hailing of panic among legionnaires. I couldn’t help it but unfurl my eyes. 

There I saw above, in the sky a dark cloud circling like a whirlwind. It’s a black hole! That thing looks familiar! Back in the desert when we were on a mission of grace unwarp. It’s that thing that a legionnaire showed up! It’s them! From that black hole, fell like a rain -- people -- legionnaires clad with cloaks with dark steel spikes. They wore a dark armor somewhat like us, but it’s all steel exposed in their chest, arm up to legs. In their armor carved the triangle and a line between it and a circle crossing the lines. There’s no doubt it’s the same figure who showed up back then and kidnapped the monster sisters! It’s the Kingdom of Katastrefo! 

I saw six people clad in darkness, and from a distance I could feel the immense sinister aura that they possess, this vibe, it’s the same with commander Fritz! Dark smoke is surrounding them. And the air becomes thin and hard to breath as the smoke mixed with it. Above the black hole is shrinking, but before it finally closes another man emerged from it surrounded by dark smoke. He was floating and slowly descended like a feather with the help of the wind. When his feet landed the ground withered, though the hearthstone is made of hard ground with metals beneath it, yet it was cursed. It became dark and muddy thing that I’ve never seen before. I think that this kingdom is cursed today! They unveil their hood and showed their faces! Three women, and four men, they are seven in total. Most of them are young legionnaires same with my age or even younger as I look at some of them. The man in the middle is releasing an evil aura. It’s drying my throat and dehydrating me even from a distance. 

They were surrounded by legionnaires though. Elite warriors from all brigades. And some commanders are present but there are some commanders that I can’t sensed and spot on. 

“Who are you people?! How did you get here?!” A loud voice coming from a woman in the middle of the crowding legionnaires. I side-glance harder, it was lady commander Carmae! 

The man in the middle stretching out his hands and grinning widely like his lips going to tear and said, “We are from the Kingdom of Katastrefo, I am Lord Commander Zap. This is quite a welcome, such crowd, I didn’t know you prepared a warm welcome to us. This information weren’t provided to us. I thought our arrival would be a surprise.”  The dark smoke that was half hiding him faded. This man stinks with evil scent, I could smell the blood in his sword and hands. And his visage it’s disgusting as he wears a dark armor with metal plates in his shoulders, but beneath his body armor it is some kind of rotting woods type garment. His arms are clad with it too. So gross to look at it.

“Information? What are you spouting about?!” A gigantic voice said from a distance from the crowd, everybody turned, and it was the Lord Commander Alvin!

“Oh, didn’t you know, that there are traitors among you?!” The man named Zap replied with this creepy grin. 

Everybody was shocked upon hearing what he said. I can hear a murmur among the crowds. 

“So that boy right there is one of you,” Lord commander Alvin said pointing on me.

Zap turn and look sturdily with a confused grin, “I don’t know who is that boy,” he squinted among the legionnaires, as if he’s looking for someone. “They are not here either, our comrades, I wonder where are they? But it doesn’t matter anymore, because I will destroy this kingdom and suck all of your graces. Commanders, begin the operation.” 

What? Commanders? Operation? 

A lady in in a long curly hair. Struck her sword on the ground. And the blade shine like a shooting star that sting my eyesight. From her sword metals appeared, but wait . . . their figures, it’s an old weapon from archaic age that I’ve read about, they are called the missiles! 

The legionnaires that were surrounding them were blasted! It was a great impinge and groundburst that shook the hearthstone. These people are dangerous! And what I’m also concerned about is that I’m still trapped in this cage. 

A cloud of dust covered the hearthstone after the explosion. And a light shone from the heart of the cloud! I prepared myself for another impact but there was nothing. The cloud of dust begin to die, the moment the area was clear in my sight. I was affright of what I saw! There are some legionnaires dead lying on the ground. Some were crushed, their flesh and bodies scattered all over the place. But it wasn’t all the legionnaires, there were too many of them as I remember! They are all gone! I squinted to the enemies! It’s only three of them left standing! Where did the other four go?!

Surrounding them, were legionnaires I recognized: The three commanders: Lady Carmae, Pops, and Lislime. With their vice commanders at their side and I can see Dennis beside Pops, yes I almost forgot he’s the vice commander of Ruin brigade. Also the strongest legionnaire next to the king is left here as well--Lord Commander Alvin.

“Where are they?! What did you do?!” Lislime yelled at him with her voice cracking and her legs trembling.

“Don’t worry they are still within this kingdom they just been teleported, because they are just small fries and they wont entertain me. But they may be just a corpse now.” Zap said.

I felt a strong pressure in Lord Commander, I noticed that he wasn’t wielding his Excalibur. Where is his sword?! He then stretching up his hands and I heard a hoovering sound from afar and it’s getting closer. I saw from above the Excalibur spinning and landed in his right hand as he catch its hilt! He summoned it then! This will be a regret of this kingdom invading us here! This is Lord Commander, he is a monster among monster, even omnibus can’t fully describe his strength and tales of wars. He start stepping forward to the enemy. Every step he made it shattered the ground. His presence is so heavy, it’s making me drop to my knee. 

“Step back commanders and vice commanders, I’ll handle this alone.” Lord commander said sharply. 

“That’s an amusing sword you have there old sire, that will add to the collection of Plunder how I wish he’s here, he should enjoy fighting you, he would be lucky to get that sword. It looks like he’s unlucky because I will destroy that piece of junk,” an enemy in the front said while walking meeting the Lord Commander. 

Is he crazy?! He will have a taste of---

“I wouldn’t underestimate this young man if I were you Lord commander,” the enemy’s named Zap said swiftly with a grin . . . ”his name is Whip, he’s a commander, you see that sword he held? That’s an Ace Out sword. I’m probably sure you have heard those kind of swords, I heard a tale that you were beaten half dead and left you those scars when you last fought a legionnaire who possess that kind of sword. Consider it kindness from giving you that information.” 

My pupil narrowed to look at the man’s sword. It’s true, it’s glowing with yellowish and crafted on it is the ace carvings! But what he said, it troubled me, I’ve never heard those kind of tales. Lord commander beaten half dead? Maybe it’s true, there are scars all over his skin though! 

The Lord commander stopped moving forward as soon as the man faced him in front. But he gallop through the enemy in front and went after to their commander. He was open wide at the back. He then lift his Excalibur and swing it to him from above. 

Zap was still grinning and he didn’t move an inch. Lord commander’s sword was stopped mid air, it wash parred by a sword--it was the young man’s sword who stepped in front with such haste. The impact was heavy, a brute wind exploded from the clash of their swords! 

The enemy parred the lord commander’s Excalibur!? Impossible! He pushed lord commander’s sword back that he was indeed dashed back. 

“You will lose your life lord commander if you underestimate that young man,” their lord commander said tilting his head with a grin in his face. 

“We need to back you up, lord commander,” pops cried from behind him!

“Do as you like, let’s protect this kingdom! But you two vice commanders step back this battle is out of your league!” Lord commander commanded them. 

The three commanders unleashed their powerful grace uncloaking their swords! And the vice commanders leap back in distance, among them was Dennis, he was scared and shaking to be in a deadliest battle that he never had before. 

The hearthstone is filled with killing nature! What amazed me is that, Lislime is fighting alongside with them! Is she gonna be alright? No she wont, she’s not with their level! She may be have the title of a commander but I have fought her, she’s not that strong enough! She lacks experience! 

I need to get out of here! I need to save her and get her out of the battle field. I took a stance. And punch the barrier! It waved and shook, but it seems like I punch a very hard wall. My bones in my fist almost broke. I threw a series of punches in the barrier! But it’s not working! If only my sword is here! 

I glanced back to them. They are already in a battle. The young man is taking on lord commander and pops. Unbelievable, he seems just like my age! But he’s fighting both of them! 

Pops already uncloak his Dark Hell flame. It’s just like my sword, blazing red like a blood. I heard that it can summon the dead. I will witness his power then!

“It’s another rare sword you got older sire, It’s time for both of you leave this generation,” the young man said, but now his looks seems excited and he is grinning just like his lord commander! 

His visage seems familiar somewhere I saw, but I cant fully harken back!

“Boy you are still far cry from us!” Pops grunted! 

His sword started to smoldered a hot burning thing, and it melted dripping down from its blade. It’s the lava of hell! Here he comes! He pivot it in front of the young man and a lava vented and envelop above him! He’s gonna melt! Serves him right! 

A sphere like was form in the lava that landed on him like a wave! No way! Is it a barrier?! The lava slides down, the sphere was exposed that covered him. It was his sword as he leveled it up, something covered him. 

“You are overlooking the power of my ace out sword, as soon as we clashed with our swords, I’ve already weighed your grace and strength, it can no longer harm me. I have aced outed you both, in cohesion or nature of grace. You both can’t beat me,” the enemy said and he laughed at them. 

“Nonsense! In a war, it’s all about strength and power!” Lord commander advances!  He swing his sword so fast! Multiple times to the young man! Amazing, he is tacking it like a stick even though his sword is huge and heavy. But the enemy is silting all of his brute attacks! 

“You don’t get it do you old sire,” the young man said while grinning and eyes stretching out like crazy! 

He took a stance, and advance to lord commander. The enemy turn it around, and now he pressing on to lord commander Alvin! It was a multiple thrust of his sword, he is small and he is able to move that fast. 

Lord commander, tired to dodge and block some of the attacks, as it’s too many of it, there are some that went through that struck his shoulder, left leg and right arm, leaving wounds and blood gushing. The enemy never stops shoving and keep on faring while laughing madly. The lord commander couldn’t the attacks, he is being struck all over his body. 

The young man’s movement suddenly halted, and lord commander took advantage and aim for his head to cut it off! But he was able to block it by just the tip of his sword.  But he is being strangled by somebody! His legs, his back, and his arms. I squinted closer, those are dead people holding him off! There it is the undead of the hell sword of commander Ken! 

“Do it now Alvin!” Pops cried. 

Lord commander then grip his sword and s***h the boy’s shoulder, he was torn into half along with the zombies that were holding him. His flesh and blood run to the ground. The lord commander yank up his sword, leaving the unconscious body of enemy. His eyes were still open glaring up at the commander. 

Pops teared toward the kid and pierced his eyes and cut his head off! It rolled like a ball spinning, blood spilling. They won! 

An explosion from the left side of the hearthstone! It was the same enemy who released those powerful missiles. Fighting her are commander Carmae and Lislime. 

The sighted the woman jump back towards her lord commander. It’s just the two of them now! 

“Looks like this will be over soon, lord commander. Do you regret invading our kingdom,” pops said to them. 

Zap is still grinning! He doesn’t even care about the young man’s death. 

Pops and Lord commander Alvin are now ready to fight the remaining enemies before them. They took their moment to take a deep breath before clashing. And their grace clashes with each other making the air blew and shaking the hearthstone. What a power! It’s my first time seeing this from Pops and lord commander, their strength leveled with the Paradeisian I think!

A zero hour teleportation started to appear from behind them! Great! As I know that only commanders can use it! Goodness it’s a reinforcement! There appeared granny commander Josephine and commander Nancy.

“Good grief where have you been the two of you?” Pops complained . . . ”But I’m glad you can give us a hand, let’s defeat their lord commander!” 

Something is off, I can feel something erratic from both of them! A presence similar with the enemy. Both lord commander and pops were facing the enemy while the two who just arrived from behind are still walking forward to them.

“We’re sorry we were teleported somewhere earlier by the explosion. But we already taken care of the enemy we faced,” granny said with an equivocal smile. 

Wait! What did she said?! It doesn’t make sense. They completely look well and not worn out, they had never engaged in a battle! Besides what does she mean they were teleported earlier by the explosion?! It was crowded indeed earlier but I never felt their grace! They were never here to begin with! 

The words of Zap recall in my mind, when he said . . . ”My comrades aren’t here with you.” . . . Don’t tell me . . . ?!

I cried from the depth of my lungs, as hard as I could, even I didn’t know if they could hear me from this distance or not! But it seems they can’t! I saw them draw their swords and went behind of lord commander and pops and stab them in the back silently with haste! Their swords impaled through their bodies! 

Granny stabbed pops, and commander Nancy stabbed lord commander! I didn’t believe what they have done! 

Commander Carmae and Lislime saw it and they hurried towards them. They have witnessed a betrayal that left them tongue tied and dread. 

Granny and commander Nancy jump away in a secure distance. But why? They are up to something!

The lady commanders prattled to tend the wounds of pops and lord commander to save them from death as they saw that they are in a critical condition. 

They lowered their guard from the enemy, and they took advantage of it, the woman rained missiles over them. And they were blown without their consent! 

Their vice commanders who were on the laid back set eyes on it, they were filled in rage and madness! They charge over them for revenge! But it’s pointless, their strength are pathetic. 

My friend Dennis who served pops with loyalty jump to granny the traitor, he clad himself in steel put on all his barbaric strength in his reel of his sword. An enemy he didn’t noticed slipped between them, and struck him in mid air as he leap in momentum to attack granny. He dropped to the ground. His steel skin was ripped open, allowing blood to gash. 

Vice commander Fern, who’s a close friend of Lislime before she even reach commander Nancy, her throat was slit so fast that she didn’t even descry. 

And vice commander Lavern who was left seemed to lost her mind as she rushed to the enemies with a sloppy stance. I just closed my eyes, as I don’t want to see her death. When I opened my eyes she’s facing against the ground her blood dribbling from a grazed in the head. What a pathetic and horrible thing for me to see. They don’t deserve to die like this! 

I never had a chance to talk to vice commander Fern, I only saw her in a distance in the office and didn’t even pay attention to her and I even pretended that she wasn’t present whenever I talk to Lislime. And now she’s dead. How I wish I make friends with Vice commander Fern! And vice commander Lavern I always see her in this hearthstone everyday, but we never talk. And my Friend Dennis, I should have accepted his apology when I had the chance! Damn it!

These two! They were the betrayer! They were the ones who help the enemy to invade our kingdom! Our kingdom supposedly can’t be found in the face of the world, yet they managed to invade here! I already had the feelings about them though in the first place! They are the ones who were harshly convincing the king to have me put to death right away! I have much respect for both of them though! 

Granny, what happened to you?! You were a good example what I admire and I have listened and put to heart all your guidance that you have said to me back when I was a new legionnaire! And Commander Nancy, I always respected your combat skills and your prowess. With your time heist sword, I trained hard so that I could move so fast to match your speed and power! What happened to both of you?! 

The strongest legionnaires are dead and the two are traitors! This is the end of this kingdom! Who will defend this kingdom now?! They killed Lislime! How dare all of you! You all are going to pay for this! My best friends are they dead too?! My soul is in anguish and I am filled with hatred that I’ve never felt before!

“Good job both of you,” the enemy’s lord commander said, that snapped my attention.

“How long are you going to play dead Whip,” the woman said with a sword with feathers shape blade on its body, a plink sword. 

The lower body suddenly jerked and stood up even without its upper body. It walked towards the upper body and it jump up and it struggle to clung with the lower body as it is ripped apart. Then he raised his sword and the head that was left on the ground uttered “Ace Out Undead.” Suddenly his body was knitted back, it was like a healing power or regeneration! But he was already dead! It’s not a healing thing! Then he went after the head and pick it up and put back to its neck and held on to it, and I saw the flesh regenerated! It left my mouth making a space, as I was horrified by what I just saw!

“You don’t have to command me what to do Whip,” he complained like a kid! 

My eyes couldn’t comprehend what I behold. What did he just do?! Is he immortal or something?!

“All that’s left is the king, we’ll do this same act again. Let’s go kill him,” Their commander said.

“Wait!!!” I screamed like a mad man! “Where do you think you’re going!!??” They all turned to me, they heard me! 

“That’s the boy master. He encountered those Paradeisian and now believes in the promised king,” granny said. 

They came towards me. My legs are trembling! I know they are gonna kill me, and I don’t have my sword, I cant defend myself at least! But I’m safe I have this barrier!

“Let’s kill him now,” commander Nancy said! 

She walked towards me and and halted as she studied at the barrier. 

“Oh you think that barrier will protect you, that’s a nice trick of the king,” she said. 

Zap came forward, and touch the barrier with his palm. And suddenly, the barrier shattered like a glass! My throat dried as I smell death from him! 

 Commander Nancy lift her sword and it shone as the sun is reflecting on it. 

My body is paralyzed in fear. I cant move, but I gotta move, I’ll be stab and be killed now! Move! Move! Move body! Please! 

She swift her sword it was so fast that I couldn’t follow it and I have no time to evade it, it’s right straight to my left eye I saw the shining point of it! 

She stopped in mid air! The moment actuated in slow motion. For a quick second, she quickly pulled back her sword and not just her but all of them scampered backwards, seems like they are dodging something dangerous! I heard a series of cracks and a groans of the ground on the right side, sounds like something is being crushed or sliced forcefully by something! Just two inches away from my face a sharp wind hissed! The smoky dust in front of me was cleared by that! And my eyes balls did not blink and felt the strong wind that went passed my face! That was what they dodged?! 

I tilt down, the cracks, the shaped, it’s from a sword! This power! Could it be . . . ?!

“I always knew there was something wrong with you two” A voice from my right where there are still covered by a cloudy dust. 

From there a man surfaced from out of nowhere seems like he was hiding from a wind that made him insensible. His right leg appeared, half of his body was exposed! Until he fully showed up, those armor--it’s the king! 

The waft suddenly changed, and I was able to breath deeply in relief, is this hope? Yes this is, I can feel it, the king want to send it across to my flesh and bones! I gotta get up! I gotta held myself up! I gotta fight!

“Hey little boy, I brought your cherub sword, I command you to go wild and wipe out these traitors and invaders,” he said, and yes he’s carrying it with him my sword. He tossed it to me, and I catch it with its hilt.

“Your majesty, I’m glad you could join your people . . . in death,” Zap said.

“And you will regret invading this kingdom,” our king replied. “You two will pay the penalty of death for your treachery.”

“Oh? That won’t happen because you’re gonna die today Jonary,” granny said. 

I don’t believe it, he called our king just his name. Granny what happened to you?! Why did you betray all of us?! I’m still gnashing my teeth as I am filled with anger of what fell to our kingdom today! 

The king turn to me, “Little Boy, forgive me if I misjudge you. You gotta accept my apology as a king, the truth now lies before us, their bitter betrayal. I know it’s hard for you as young as you are. But we must stop them or else they will kill more people in this kingdom.” 

Somehow a warm energy surge in me that filled my conviction that I gotta stop them! My eyes is gleaming with fire and determination to punish these enemies! I raise my sword and uncloak the blue scorching flame! There’s no need to hold back and I can’t let my guard down by using the normal flame! The king is going to fight beside me, this is gonna be alright! But it’s two against five! We are in great disadvantage!

“Zinvul Boy, I know we have a deep relationship, I have guided you since you were a young lad in the legionnaires. I’m like a real grandmother to you. So would you listen to what I have to say?” Granny said, and it caught my attention! 

King Jonary frowned at her. And he turn to me.

“Don’t ever try to listen to her little boy,” the king said sharply. 

He’s right she betrayed the kingdom and killed pops! 

The king swayed his sword that it created a sharp space bending wind towards the enemies. 

Granny steps forward received the impact with her sword! And it was absorbed! I couldn’t believe what I saw! The King’s entwine sword attack was stopped! But I almost forgot granny possess the phoenix sword! It really absorbed any powerful attack! I’m witnessing powerful ancient cherub swords that I never did before! I’m out of their class! 

I sharply sensed a stab coming in my left head so I ducked! It almost pierced my head! I spun up, it’s commander Nancy! 

“Nice dodge lovely boy,” she said. 

I twist my grip of my sword and swing it to her from below but she flee! From a distance, a light of a second in a figure of her image break for a nanosecond before she popped in. 

I know it’s her power. As she wield a time heist sword. It’s similar to Lislime’s promise sword. But I have reckoned Lislime’s future times prediction, it’s just a few seconds and sometime a minute in maximum. But I don’t know about commander Nancy’s. We may have spar sometimes, but I never seen her in real death battle and all I heard about are tales that she can bring you either back in the past or to the future to torture you. But I need to know the extent of the abilities of her sword! 

“What is her sword’s abilities? That’s what your mind is asking now right?” She said while she grin with her annoying eye-bags blobbing up! “Let me educate you then about my power, my time heist sword allows me to go back in time to correct the past and go ahead in the future to predict and secure the outcome. But I can only use it once a year. This is a lovely power you know, I’ve been traveling back in history! Some I have changed, some I cannot. I have seen the past. So I want to preach to you now, that there’s no point in believing the promised king! And talking about the future, this year I have secured this destiny to happen today. This kingdom will fall, the king will fall, and you will die soon in unimaginable way. So I’ve used up my powers to travel. Yet that is not all my abilities, I could still predict a few seconds ahead, in case something unexpectedly want to change the future. That is why I live in the present to guide and secure the future, and that power is more than enough to kill you now if you resist your destiny,” She said while grinning and this time she’s showing off her ugly teeth! 

But thanks to her explanation I don’t have to worry anything, her ability now is like of Lislime’s, if I can defeat her now, everything that her sword created for the future will be shattered! I need to defeat her! I can defeat her! 

She then disappeared, but I can follow her light of where she will show up! 

I went ahead and followed her trace, when she materialized, her eye’s widened because my sword is about to stab her head! 

My sword was hit or smashed hardly from out of nowhere that I didn’t see where the attack comes from. I lost the grip of my sword as it vibrates so hard in my hand. Oh no! I’m wide open . . . !

Commander Nancy stabs me in my left shoulder, in a fraction of a second I was able to avoid a fatal blow, but this one is still fatal, it pierced through my body, and my left part of my body suddenly got numb! 

“Lovely boy you surprised me, you almost got me there,” she said, and she laughs insanely. “Thank you lord Whip,” she said while turning to my right. 

I spun to follow where she was looking at, there I saw a boy pointing his sword to me. So it was him! He starts lurching near me, this is bad, I gotta do something. I gathered some verve and I clasp her sword using my right hand and quickly pulled it back as I lean back at the same time. I was able to let go from her blade, my blood splashed to the ground as I moved back. I burn my wound only using my grace through my right hand just to stop the bleeding. I squinted the area to look for my sword.

“Too bad I’m going to kill you bro,” his voice coming from behind me, 

I jerk away and spun quickly while I clench the hole of my wound. Suddenly I remember his ability of his ace out sword, it only works and becomes powerful against another sword, how about I give it a try to fight him with a hand to hand combat! So I charged to him and waited for him to swing his sword so that I could counter him with a punch or kick. 

There it is, he swung it from his right, I quickly get inside of his arm, I grab his wrist where he wield his sword with my half numb left hand, and collared his armor with my right hand and pulled my head to smash it against his face . . . 

“Wrong move bro,” he uttered with a smile, 

He bust my right hand that was gripping his armor in his chest with his left hand, it was so hard that I lost my hold, he instead smash his head against my face, and I was caught off guard not expecting what he would do--a brute headbutt. My head snapped back, like I was hit by a giant rock, my sight darkened and my skull shaken. I felt my feet lifted the ground as well. I felt a six combo of strikes, I know those are punches, in my stomach, chest and pancreas. I spit blood out of the hard counterblow. I landed on the ground with my flat back.

“Good thinking there though bro, but Katastrefo legionnaires are trained brutally with a hand to hand combat,” he laughed at me with mockery. 

My eyesight is spinning, I can see him getting closer to me, and he is now standing on top of my head. 

He lift his right foot and stump it into my face with his steel boots, the strike almost crushed my skull, but I’m still conscious a little bit, my eyesight dimmed as my eyes were mashed, and my nose flowing out with blood. He stump it again and again and again! My face got numb that I don’t feel the pain anymore. I don’t know if what I look like now. 

“Oh he’s half dead already” He said and he stepped on my wound in my shoulder, I don’t feel the pain anymore though, but I can feel the blood from my body rushing to that hole. He lift his foot and he start walking away . . . towards the king. 

No! Stop! They are going to kill the king! I took all the strength just to turn my head so that I could see the king!

There he is still busy battling with the others. He’s being attack from left and right. Granny and the girl who can create missiles, the king is deflecting both of their attacks. Bunch of missiles being rained upon him, he slashed it from a distance with a cutting wind shear. But granny is blowing her fiery phoenix to the king as well, and all he could do is par it with his sword cutting winds. He’s breathing hardly, he’s getting exhausted!  This is bad! I need to get up and back him up! But I can’t move, seems like my whole body is crippled and beat up, I could feel some of my bones are already wrecked inside! 

The two enemies have joined to attack the king, he is now surrounded. The kid galloped behind him while he was busy blocking those missiles, his right hand was gashed as he turned to the kid, commander Nancy stabbed him from the back of his shoulder. 

The king coughed some blood, unable to moved as he is being pinned down! 

Zap motioned to the two and they both pulled their swords, the king is twitching from his wounds, and blood gushed from his ripped flesh! 

I saw missiles from behind him stormed down on him like red thorns, the king turned and still tried to whirled his sword, but there was too many and he couldn’t move faster the way he could as of his scathed arm! 

His was blown by the great explosion! , but I saw him jump back from the the great danger, he was saved as he got a distance of the impact; while he was on the air, he was caught by a fiery phoenix! Damn it Granny! The king was caught in fire like he was smashed by a meteorite, he gyrated from the force, yet he was able to land on both his feet! He is strong, not easy to get defeated! 

The king unleashed a wind from within him that put off the fire. But he’s been brutally burned, his shape is not good, he is barely standing and his blood is dripping down all over him. He grappled his sword with both two hands struggling, and I felt a very powerful pressure from him, this could be his last attack!

A windstorm gathered where he was standing. And he cried, “To those who can hear me, I leave to you the kingdom of Chamenos, and don’t give up, fight these enemies!!!” 

The gale got stronger, I saw the enemies were worried about the incoming attack, they became reluctant and didn’t know what to do! 

The king stroke his sword with a wind invoking a lightning, wrapping it towards the enemy! 

In a glimpse of a second I saw their leader, Zap rushed in. Just in time as the king swing his sword, it was stop in the middle of the momentum--with Zap’s bare hand against the king’s blade! 

The powerful breath and the lightning jerked to fade. Zap grab the king’s sword, and the king, exhausted and drained, had used up his remaining grace, eventually slid his grip from his sword, dropped to his knee! What happened?! 

“King Arc, such an impostor, I don’t know who in the world are you!? You’re entwine sword is a swindler as well! I thought that coming here would be meeting an old friend, the real king Arc, one of the nameless kings. I was hoping I would beat him in his kingdom and convince him to join me, so that we could give birth to a new era, the era of dark kings.” he complained. 

He turn his gaze to granny and commander Nancy, and they were terrified by the anger and disappointment in his eyes.

He drop the kings sword and draw his own sword and without vacillation, stab the king in the heart! No!!! Wrath burst in within me! Yet my body wouldn’t cooperate! I still can’t move! But I force my flesh and bones just to budge a little! And I was able to flip my body from lying in my back to facing the ground. I tilt my neck forcibly to make my  head up so that I could see the king. With my right eye beaten half closed and my left eye covered in blood and dirt that I can scarcely see. But there I glimpse the king kneeling and a sword pierced through his chest. The blade was pulled out and the flesh and blood burst out. The king didn’t make a sound, he was just there kneeling--silent--dead. 

My eyes went into tears and I want to scream out loud but I don’t even have the strength to do it, and I’m going to die also. 

My eyes slowly losing its strength from being open and I can feel like it’s slowly closing even I want to be awake and keep it open. 

Before I obliged to just let my eyes close - I saw something - just beside my head, a scroll that made my brain and veins alive and remembers what this scroll is! This was given to me by the Paradeisian! Instantly I knew what I needed to do! My last remaining strength and life force I have put it in my arms though it’s numb and I can see blood from the every wound and feel the broken bones. I stretch out my right hand and get the scroll while my flesh and bones are crying in such pain, it didn’t matter any more, I just gotta do this before I die! I open the scroll with just my right hand. And just in time, what it requires is my blood in my palm. So I just drop my hand that’s soaked in blood. And live the rest to them. 

My whole body rest and I can feel my life fading, but I’m still breathing, it means I’m not dead yet. I waited believing something will happen after opening the scroll and hoping that I did what it needed to get activated, but nothing happened. But that’s alright, I don’t expect some miracles in the brink of death. I closed my eyes and all hopes are gone, I could die now. 

My right hand felt a power surging and vibrating that made my veins awaken and alive, slowly I’m recovering consciousness, strength and power. Even my wounds I can feel that it’s being healed slowly, my bones connecting and my flesh inside of me moving and regenerating. What is this power coming from the scroll? My eyes was shaped back to normal, my eyesight restored slightly, I could see the surrounding a little bit clearly. The wounds on my face the flesh that was crushed are getting repaired and healed. 

My eyesight was back to its sharpness! I look up to the scroll where I place my hand on it; a light is shining. And my surrounding is illuminating.
