THE OATH

CHAPTER TWO

Shouting and rolling on the bed, Amanda was sweating and breathing rapidly, she suddenly woke up from the sleep and sighed, then held her forehead in pain

"this nightmare again" she uttered as she stood up to find out her bed was stained with blood, she shivered immediately cause she was not on her menstrual cycle, she got really scared that she called out to her boyfriend derick who rushed into the room immediately,

"baby are you okay? is anything wrong?, while asking this questions he started to rub her back cause he already knew what was wrong, he looked at the bed as if searching for something, and there,he saw the blood stain and shook his head

"you had the nightmare again," he said, not questioning cause he already knew, Amanda nodded as she sheded tears

"Am scared" she uttered, and this pierced derick's heart so badly, it hurts him, it really pains him seeing the girl he loves suffer like this, it kills him, and to make matters worse, neither of them knows how to stop this mysterious problem, it's so surprising how a girl bleeds beneath when she is not menstruating, it's shocking how that is possible, but her past is filled with an unknown mystery, maybe she brought the doom upon herself, maybe not but fate leads, it takes you to wherever you are desined to be, coaxing and trying to make his girlfriend feel more relaxed and calm, Amanda fell asleep in his arms, derick smiled, but it was that kind of smile that reveals a hidden pain that is with, he thought for a while as he stared at the beautiful round oval shaped face in his arms, he gently used one hand to remove the top bed spread which was stained and layed his girlfriend on the bed, the gently kissed her lips before he covered half of her body with a bedspread then he too the stained one downstairs to drop for the laundry man,few minutes later he came back to the room and sat right beside his girlfriend, the girl that completely captured his heart even without trying, he smiled as he thought about how the presence Amanda in his life has completely changed him, he chuckled as he pecked the beauty in distress lying beside him
