The next morning, I’m stretching out the stiffness in my joints as I slowly sip my coffee. I barely slept last night, on account of spending the entire time sleeping curled up on a duvet on the bathroom floor. After Todd assaulted me in my dressing room yesterday, he had threatened to come back to my suite later and “finish the job” - so I took whatever precautions I could. The moment I got back from my date with Oliver, I managed (with a huge amount of effort) to drag my big, extremely heavy four poster bed all the way across the bedroom. I pushed it in front of the suite’s front door, effectively holding the door shut and blocking the way to prevent a forced entry. I could have slept on the bed but felt safer with an extra layer of protection, so I took my duvet and a pillow to the bat
