‎"I'm here!" ‎My hand started to shake and I became anxious as soon as I heard my brother's voice reverberate throughout our home. ‎"I swiftly turned on the TV and took a seat on the couch." ‎I picked up a magazine to divert my attention. ‎pretending to read in order to relax. ‎In front of me, Matt was seated on the couch. He was laughing and chatting to my brother. I can't control myself looking at him. He is handsome and gentleman. ‎Every time I saw him happy, I both loved and hated it. I don't know why I feel like I'm crazy to him. Ever since I met him I never attract to other guy. ‎He was the type of man who can easily attract attention without having to work hard. ‎His skin was fair. ‎His eyes were soft. ‎Every time he smiled, his dimples appeared. ‎"I had been secretly in love with him for the past five years." In silence, I adore him. hiding and acting. ‎Then suddenly our eyes met and I looked away, but he caught me staring at him. He waved his hand at me and said, ‎"Hi, Loraine." My desire was to vanish. My brother gave me a look and burst out laughing. He said, ‎"You're acting weird today, Loraine." ‎"Shut up." ‎"Maybe she's tired from school." They were both laughing and staring at one another. My face flushed. ‎I saw Matt more than just as a brother's friend, but he only sees me as his younger sister. Matt had been part of our lives for many years. ‎In our family, he is present for every occasion. ‎I fell in love with him because of this. ‎Every time he's here, I feel secure. He is a gentleman and a good man. ‎I hoped he would see me someday. ‎"Let's go Matt mom prepared dinner" ‎I said, "I'll eat later." while standing slowly. ‎Matt grabbed my hand after a few steps. ‎"Come join us to eat" . ‎"No, I'm not hungry" ‎"That's a lie." ‎He just gave me a smile. ‎Every time he smiled at me, I felt like I was drowning. ‎He slowly grabs my hand before I turn around and decide to head to my room. ‎My body felt frozen. My heart is beating nonstop. I can't stop thinking. ‎"Matt...." I muttered to him. ‎"Come on, Loraine every time I ask you to join us you always run away." ‎His hands were gentle. I feel secure when he holds my hands.I don't want him to move on. ‎Luke abruptly whispered, "Oho! What is going on here!? ‎My eyes widened. He immediately released my hand while Luke continued to tease us. ‎Should I leave the two of you!? He laughed as he spoke. ‎"What are you talking about?" I asked angrily. ‎"Stop Luke she will be mad." I hurriedly sat down, but sadly, Matt was seated next to me. ‎Every time he is next to me, I get anxious and my heart races. My mind is unable to think clearly. Matt took the rice bold before I could serve my meal. ‎He even poured a glass of water and said, ‎"I'll do it." ‎I was shocked by what he did. My heart is racing. He picked up one of my favourite dishes and put it on my plate. ‎"You like this one, right!?" I said. ‎"Thanks." ‎He saw my favourite food for the first time. He even poured me a glass of water. My food is served by him. What is going on with him? ‎Thinking about what is going on right now makes it impossible for me to eat. I feel paralysed. ‎And I didn't realize at the time that this dinner would be the beginning of everything. ‎I went to my room a short while after dinner. I sit slowly on the right side of my bed, reflecting on the day. ‎Knock. ‎Knock. ‎I opened the door slowly. I'm having trouble breathing. Matt is outdoors. ‎"Matt!?" ‎"I apologise for bothering you." ‎"It's okay." I said, ‎"Tomorrow is your eighteenth birthday, Loraine." ‎"Oh." ‎"Happy birthday in advance, Loraine." ‎"Thank you, Matt." ‎"Hmmfff, Actually, I want to ask you something if that's okay with but you can refuse if you are not available." ‎"Yeah, go on what is it!?" When I heard that he was inviting me to dinner tomorrow, my eyes grew wide. ‎"Well hmff, I booked a restaurant tomorrow And I want to know if you could come?" ‎"Yes, without a doubt." ‎"And I want to give you something." He grinned softly. ‎"A gift!?" ‎"Well, you will know for tomorrow, 6 pm at Emerald Restaurant." ‎"Hmmf." ‎"Will you come Loraine!? He asked." ‎"Okay." ‎His face lit up. I shut the door slowly. She leaped into the bed with haste. He invited me to dinner tomorrow. Will he give me a gift? I muttered to myself, ‎"Calm down, Loraine." Until I went to sleep. When she woke up the following morning, she hurried to get ready for bed. ‎She applied minimal makeup. When I'm done, I quickly hop in the car. I get to the restaurant before six o'clock. ‎I arrived at the restaurant before six o'clock. I'm anxious when I open the door and see him carrying a bouquet, but when I see someone holding Matt's hand, ‎My heart breaks........ ‎Unable to think....... ‎Unable to move........... I pretend I didn't notice them but deep inside it's really hurts. She's beautiful, elegant and she's perfect for him but it broke my heart seeing that someone holding his arms.I don't know her but I can see that they a close to each other, I know him he will not let someone to touched him casually. ‎At this moment I want to disappear.
