What do you feel when someone from the past comes back?
Happy? Sad? Disappointed? Or just indifferent?
The answer depends on who the person is. If it's someone you miss, the answer is definitely happy.
That's what happened to me. Happy, as if she was the only person in the world. Happy, until I momentarily forgot about my partner at home. Forgot that I already had someone who had taken her place in my heart. Not replaced, because it turns out her name is still engraved there.
After many months passed, and upon meeting again for the first time, the love that had been deeply buried for her resurfaced. Slowly causing a strange flutter in my heart, making it hard to find the words to even greet her. That feeling returned. Is it a sign of failing to move on?
