I undressed. I was nervous about how the children would react. Xavier was nervous too. He was afraid if they thought of him as the big bad wolf. But he still wanted to do it. It should be the most gentle way too because Tim hasn't had his wolf for so long, it took longer to transform.
The first time is awful, you feel every bone in the body when it jumps out of joint and it takes time .. It's almost like you're scared and don't want to do it again.
But then the next time you transform you feel that the pain isn't as painful as the first time and that is a big relief. Xavier has been out regularly for the last three years so it's going fast, and is painless.
I looked in the mirror.
"Xavier .. I trust you, It's going to be fine"
"It's quite ridiculous that I'm nervous about this .. We've been out on the battlefield and I've been less nervous... I'll show myself to some kids and I can't breath.... and Jessi .. It's the first time she will se me.."
"I understand exactly what you mean. But it will be good. Take a deep breath."
"I'm ready now .." Xavier took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
I pulled the sheet around my hips and went out into the living room. I saw where they made room for me. I looked at Jessi quickly but I saw how her eyes explored my body, Damn women .. That's the last thing I need to think about right now. I took a deep breath and pushed those thoughts away; it was definitely not the time.
"So .. are you ready? ..." I was nervous, Xavier was nervous and I heard Jessi's heart beating in her chest. She was also nervous ..
"Yes ... wait ... Tim can you hold my hand ... Now i'm ready" Anna stood holding Tim's hand, Ron and Jessi nodded.
That was it now .. It could go a little anyway it felt like ..
"Alright, here comes Xavier" I said aloud.
Xavier took over, I held the sheets tightly and the transformation began.
I heard a scream as we transformed, It was a scream mixed with fear but also excitement, a bit like the one you are giving out when you are riding a roller coaster.
Xavier was out.
The sheet lay on his back. He turned slowly as in slow motion, He met Jessi's gaze and then looked at Ron, Then at Anna, who squeezed the life out of Tim's hand. It was she who had screamed, she was scared but still curious.
Xavier laid down on the floor. He was so big that even though he laid down on all fours, his head was up to Ron's chest and he was a head taller than Anna.
"The boy is brave, he doesn't have the slightest fear in him. The girl thinks we are scary ... what do I do?"
"Put your head between your paws, let her come to you .."
Xavier put his head between his paws, Ron asked if he could approach Xavier .. He went forward and sat down next to Xavier's head. "Can I touch him?"
"Remember that David is in there, He and Xavier would never hurt you" Tim stepped forward and sat down next to Tim and patted Xavier between the shoulders. He pulled off the sheet and now all of Xavier was visible.
Anna gasped "How big he is!"
"Yes he is big, David is not that small either so his wolf is big also" Tim still patted Xavier between the shoulders as he spoke.
Ron gathered courage and stroked his hand between the ears and back of to the shoulders, Xavier flapped with one ear of reflex and Ron jumped..
"Damn I scared him it's over they will hate me"
"Calm down, it was a reflex. Lie still."
Ron started patting Xavier again, he patted and started scratching Xavier at the jawbone. Xavier started pedaling with his paw like a dog does when scratching his stomach.
Ron giggled,
"look Anna, he is really a big puppy."
Anna approached Xavier, Xavier looked at her curiously, He was so afraid to scare her. Jessi took Anna by the hand and sat on the other side of Xavier's head and Anna sat on Jessi's lap. Jessi started patting Xavier, he felt the sparks she gave off. Anna met Jessi's hand and touched his fur "he's so soft!"
"He's beautiful" Jessi smiled as she patted Xavier, who was enjoying the compliment he just got from his human mate. He slowly moved his head and looked at her. He approached Jessi's face when he discovered that Anna was looking wide-eyed at him, Xavier licked Anna on the cheek and she was so shocked.
"Xavier likes me! Check out he kissed me" she giggled.
Xavier waved his tail.
"That's how a dog does, isn't it?" He sounded so nervous when he asked me.
"Yes you are a very good dog Xavier" I emphasized the dog a little extra to tease him a little.
"You should imitate a monkey someday..Then you should see how it feels"...
"Thank you Xavier for saving me, I am eternally grateful to you" Jessi looked at Xavier and we saw how grateful she was..
"You can tell her I'm going to do anything to protect her ... And her siblings ... just like I know you do David…. It was a good day for Tim and Tom wanting to go to town that night.. We found her .. And them.." Xavier sounded so sentimental, He usually didn't. I knew how he longed to meet his mate.
"David .. I have finished playing dog .. I'm telling Leighton to warn Tim, That you would take over again."
"It's okay, I think that's enough for today "
Xavier told Leighton who told Tim, Tim stood with the sheet ready to cover me when I turned back into a human being.
Xavier stood up, Anna and Ron gasped for his size. He was a big wolf and the children were not even half his size. Xavier backed away. "Goodbye beautiful Xavier," Anna hugged him, shortly after Ron hugged him too. He purred.. I had never heard him do that. I didn't even know he could sound like that ..
Xavier stood up so Tim could cover him then we were transformed back into human form, I quickly took the sheet and put it around my hips.
Anna and Ron hugged me, I felt so relieved .. I heard how calm Jessi's breathing was now. She was also relieved..
It is amazing what these individuals have taken in, in a short time and how well they have taken everything
