Jessica.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I heard laughter and David's voice.

I put on a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. I made the bed, fixed the curtains, and opened the window for airing. the sun shone brightly.

I opened the door and saw David making pancakes while Anna and Ron sat by the kitchen island watching him.

"I thought the gentleman could only make pasta a'la David"

He turned around and smiled big

"Think what a fantastic invention it is with mindlinking, Layla gave me the recipe and told me how to do"

"What time is it?" I don't remember when I felt so rested last.

"Half past nine, you must have been tired after yesterday's events" He smiled big and I blushed.

"They'll be ready in a while, there's a lot of batter left in the bowl. You have time to shower if you want to"

"Thank you, I really need a shower"

I was wearing a light pink blouse and a pair of dark almost black blue jeans, I asked David to get out of the kitchen so I could clean away. That was the least I could do when he made food.

"I'll be back in a while Babe." He kissed me on the neck and went out the door.

*knock knock*

It knocked on the door.

Anna ran and opened, "It's probably Uncle Tim!" she screamed with happiness as she ran to the door. I went to the door.

"Ehm hi ... are your ehm are someone adult home?"

"Jessi I think it's for you!" Anna backed so I could see who it was and you have to be kidding with me .. Kaitlyn ..

Tim sounded worried he went up to me and patted me on the shoulder and then got into the room

I saw the horror in Kaitlyn's eyes .. She didn't even dare to look at me .. David let go of her shoulders and she ran down to the third floor.
