She stared herself in the mirror and stared fiercely and boldly. The cold eyes that she has was the real emotion she was born with. She was born with a cold eyes for she was made to be the coldest. But she was also trained to be warm in order to be able to adapt the world like this.

She proceed to bathing herself trying to get rid all of the thoughts that are trying in get into her mind and waste her time of thinking those things that would just ruin her mind. As she finished in the bathroom, without putting any make-up on her face; she went out from her bathroom right after she put her clothes on and dried her hair.

As she went downstairs, she spotted the man she never thought would matter watching a cartoon on the TV and this time, he already have his clothes covered his body. She smiled when he looked up and meet her gaze.

*"Naizen, I will never be your favorite when time comes that our destiny would touch the glass of our fate. But please know me, understand my actions as well. You will know that my mouth may lie but my eyes will never. Stare me as deep as you reach my soul."* She told over her mind while she was smiling walking closer to Naizen.

"Are you ready?" he asked her and she nodded.

"I remember you told me that you will reporting in the palace, when that will be starting?" She asked.

Naizen's smile slowly fading and she saw that, she caught how his eyes was slowly turning into much of a serious one. "Tonight," he simply answered.

"Tonight? Like tonight?"

"Yes, 6 pm up to 4 am. I am sorry love I couldn't be here with you this entire week at night. I was so devastated when I heard my this week's schedule but Captain Llorente explained that those that are recently assigned at the morning schedule have their schedule done on weekend," he said defensive.

"The Captain Faye Llorente? Did I tell you that your captain Llorente went here and she was looking for you? She even told me that you have a thing" she said and made Naizen narrowed his eyes in a very no way.

"What did you say? You never told me that," he responded flatly.

"Well, I maybe forgot the time and about her for she didn't matter to me plus, I only remember that incident when I heard her name. I was never bothered with her claims by the way, I know you will never do that, you will never tell her to come over here while I am here," she said.

"Correction. I will never tell her to come over here because this is my home and strangers are not allowed to be here. Only those important — most important people in my life are allowed to enter here. But you still could've told me about her," Naizen replied very seriously.

"I forgot."

"Next time she will try to step the way you are stepping, I would surely forget her position and I won't mind if she is a woman. I hope she won't for I don't want to bend my moral of never hurt a woman, mom will surely be disappointed in me if I do that."

The hard and the brave Naizen Alvarez really sounded like that?" She teased him and that made him sent a death glare on her that only made her chuckled.
