"I will text you when I am going home," Yvonne said the moment Naizen stopped the car in front of Philamie's house.
"Yes, please. Although, there would be a chance that I really won't be able to fetch you for I will be leaving home on ot before 5 pm and I don't think are done surveying to all branches of Philamies by that time," Naizen seriously said.
Yvonne smiled to never make Naizen feel like it was a problem. "Don't worry about me, now that you are back to the service and we both know that you need to be there, I would understand your absence at home," she said. "I have to go now, Philamie's probably waiting for me now."
"Take care," he said.
Yvonne was about to turn her back and open the door to get our of the car when Naizen grapped her hand and pulled her to kiss her deep and hard. Her eyes widened in startle but eventually shut her eyes closed and kissed him back. She even wrapped her arms around his neck and was smiling while kissing Naizen.
"You have to let go of me now," she whispered after that hot kiss.
Naizen let go of her and planted a kiss on her forehead before he let her out of the car. He rolled down the fully tinted window glass the moment she stepped outside and was waiving him when he started the engine to leave her here.
She was looking at the car very seriously until it was already gone in her sight. Gone the smile that was drawn all over her face, gone the stars in her eyes due to that last kiss they shared, now conquered with pain within her and the her eyes are getting teary eyed. She gulped without moving an inch while still staring at the road thinking nothing but feeling empty.
Never in her life that she thought she will be seeing herself in this picture. She was molded to become heartless and fearless and to never fell in love to the people that is not part nor living the life she lives. Never to the opposites, if only heart can be controlled and in only feelings can be stopped.
Because by now, if she will be having a chance to go back to the day of how she met Naizen, she would chose the way of where Naizen and his friends are not around.
She will find another way just to avoid him — to avoid her hurting him.. She knew, she would cause too much pain on him, when time comes that she have to step out from hsi life just because she is not the right person for her. That he don't deserve him and he don't deserve someone like her. He was too good and settled for someone that is out of his league.
*"I will accept the pain with an open arms, I am sorry for causing you pain, Naizen. I will be sorry until my last breath."*
Yvonne took a deep breath as she turned her back and get inside Philamie's house. Her boss have given her a spare of this house's key that she would be able to enter her anytime she wants to see and check Philamie. She wiped and dried the tears that wet her face with a few drops before she opened the main door.
She then spotted her boss sittiing on the couch, busy facing with that papers and her phone and she was certain that Philamie was doing her work again. Philamie looked up to see her and smiled at her. "Have you eaten, how are you feeling?" she asked.
"I am fine, thank you for coming," Philamie said smiling at her like she is not ill. Although, it would just be fine if you didn't come. I don't want to be a burden to you for I know you have life outside Phliamie's," she added.
"Don't say that again, ever. I told you, everything is fine and going to be fine. You can call me everytime when you need a help. Don't worry about me, my times are always free for help," she responded and took all the folders on the table and put them all on her arms. "Are we going to be bringing all of these?" She asked while carrying all the things that Philamie put on the table.
"You don't have to carry them all, I can bring the others by myself, please put them all back," Philamie retaliates and tried to take back those papers and all but she dodged them from her boss.
"I already have them on my hand, you should not take those things that finally are on the other people's hand," she said and that made Philamie suddenly went into face palm and she chuckled. "Let's go?"
"How about your boyfriend?"
She heard Philamie asked while she was putting all the things she was carrying on the back seat of Philamie's car after her boss pressed the key to have her car opened.
"I don't have a boyfriend," she replied opening her palm asking for the car key for she will be taking over the wheels. Philamie raised her brows and glanced with the key she was holding before she put it on Yvonne's open palm that made Yvonne winked at her boss.
"Well, that was not the very first time that I ever heard from you denying the great Naizen Alvarez — your boyfriend. If you were the other girl who just have the tiniest chance of getting Naizen's attention, you will surely be celebrating the world for being like an important person to Naizen," Philamie was mumbling while connecting the seatbelt and while she was starting the engine.
"Let's not talk about me and Naizen, I know myself would never be the person that would have that title of being his girlfriend. I don't deserve someone as high as him," she said flatly like no emotion with her eyes focused on the road.
"If you say so," Philamie responded shrugging her shoulder and she caught it.
She was so sick of it that people always think of her being a girlfriend of Naizen when in fact she is not. It was so shameful for her that everyone assumed that they are in a relationship while they are not. Like, what the hell? They're just literally not helping her for she know everything about the end of these things. She doesn't want to make herself go crazy with this assumptions of the people around them like they are in the relationship — for a reason.
"Naizen's back at the service now and he is going to be very busy from now on," she uttered after a seconds of silence. "By the way, which branch are we going to be visiting at first?"
"The one in the hall," Philamie answered and gave her a smile of like thank you.
Yvonne nodded and immediately turned the wheels into the lane where would lead them unto the location of the said Philamie's branch.
"I do not know when would be my last day but I can feel like it won't last too long. Yvonne, I personally is not yet ready about death, unfortunately for me, I know myself I don't have any choice left for myself and that is why I have to put everything settled before I am gone."
She gulped after hearing Philamie's words. She didn't expect her to just tell those words for she thought Philamie would never acknowledge this ill she was experiencing and battling in her life.
"Why do I feel like you are kind of letting me hear some things that are not so good to hear, can you even imagine that?" .she mumbled while having her eyes focused with the signs to where she should go on the road that has a lot of 'no enter'.
She have already spotted the Philamie's signage hanged near the hall of sports and other things. She then carefully and successfully parked the car at the parking garage she thinks are for the Philamie's customers only like, exclusively.
Philamie didn't say a word as she opened the door of the car and walked her way towards the restaurant where the entrance is found inside the hall but still has this glass wall on it. This is the only branch of Philamie's that is found and placed inside other building. She then and immediately followed her boss inside. She doesn't know anyone in here for it was the very first time that she had her feet stepped in here inside.
"Hi ma'am, welcome to Philamie's," the waiter said and gave her the smile that he should be.
She only smiled and pointed Philamie who stopped at the counter talking to the cashier and discussing something while the cashier has her eyes focused on the monitor she was facing. The waiter turned his head to see who was she pointing. "I was with here," she said.
"Oh. I am sorry ma'am," the guy responded and she just shook her head telling the guy that it was okay. She then walked towards Philamie while simply roaming her eyes around the place. She could say that the branch in their place has the better ambiance for that was wider and kind of bigger than this one.
