Serenye's POV
It's been three days since I seduced Alpha by the pool and I haven't seen him since then—no trace of him anywhere. It almost seemed like he was hiding away from me.
I became restless and desperate. I even asked Lyanna about her father and she told me that he is ‘well’.
Well?
Yet, I haven't been able to get him off my mind or even concentrate on other things. Time is tickling so fast, and I really needed to get to work.
I moved towards my closet and retrieved the hidden phone I had there. I switched it on and it beeped immediately. It was a message from Damian and Ronan.
I checked the king's message first: “How are you, Serenye? How is your mission going? Did that bastard bite as planned?”
