She came to the Northern Crescent College with one mission—destroy the Alpha King who slaughtered her pack.

But the Goddess had other plans.

Serenye Umbra, the last Omega of the Umbra Claw pack, hides beneath the glittering lights of college life as a cheerleader for the Northern Wolves’ ice hockey team. Her best friend is the Alpha princess. Her mate? The princess’s brother, Caius Wolfe—the future heir. The same boy who rejects her the moment he realizes what she is.

Bitter, burning, and broken, Serenye takes a darker path. To get close to her enemies, she offers herself to the ruthless Alpha King Sebastian Wolfe—her best friend’s father, her mate’s father, and the monster who destroyed her people. But desire is a dangerous game, and vengeance is a blade that cuts both ways.

Now trapped between father and son, between love and revenge, between ice and fire… she must decide which man to use, which man to betray, and which man to surrender her body and heart to.

In the world of werewolves, some sins are unforgettable, some loves unforgivable, and some pleasures… forbidden.

Chapter1
Serenye's POV For the millionth time today, I rehearsed my mission like a chant. I didn't come to the Northern Crescent Pack to study. No. I came to steal, to kill and to destroy every last one of them—especially the ruthless cold-gazed Great Alpha Sebastian Wolfe. My best friend's father. He was my sworn enemy. As I walked through the exquisite mansion, I couldn't help but notice how the guards stared at me with dark, lust-filled eyes. Of course, I knew why they were staring at me like they wanted to kidnap me somewhere and f****d me until I could no longer feel a pulse. I wasn't the most beautiful that they've ever seen, but I had a scent that is addictive, seductive and irresistible—a rare mix of wild jasmine and night-blooming roses laced with storm-soaked earth. My scent lingers in the throat long after, the one that is enough to make the strongest Alpha restless and haunted in their sleep—especially when I'm in heat at the night of the full moon. I could barely resist myself, myself. Most times, I'd bite down on my pillow and pump two of my middle fingers into my hole and I wouldn't stop until I came, then licked myself clean. My body, too, was the perfect definition of a summer body. I'm twenty, but I looked like I was twenty-five. I'm five feet tall. I had heavy and full breasts that didn't need much help to spill out over tops and dresses. My hips flare out like the ocean. My asses are succulent and rounded—the type that bounce with every step I take. Even the men in the Rogue kingdom where I grew up couldn't help but stare as I walked by. And with his body and scent, I will bring the Great Alpha down to his feet. I bet he won't be able to resist me. Fuck… these men were cute too, with sexy abs and tattoos and I would be a liar if I said it wasn't difficult to stay in control too. I could feel my n*****s pressing hard against the thin fabric of my crop top whenever they stared at my breasts, and I'm f*****g wet to the extent that I could feel the crotch of my lace panties cleaved to my p***y lips like a second skin. I swallowed hard and quickly averted my gaze from them and fixed it on Lyanna—my best friend from high school. Through the chaos of my life, I had managed to woven my way into her world. She is so beautiful—her skin looked like that of a fairy. Dark green eyes that looked exactly like that of her father, but where his held winter, hers held a childish trust that made my chest ache. Long brown hair that shone like a diamond. She was so bubbly and down to earth—she was everything I wasn't; popular, wealthy, and one can't help but love her. Just hours ago, she had confessed that I was the only person who had ever been real in her world where she was always a means to an end… but only if she knew—that I was worse than those that she detested. “Welcome to the Northern Crescent Pack,” she said and opened the polished door of the grand living room. As I glanced up at the structure in front of me, I couldn't help the widening of my mouth and eyes. It was beautiful. Majestic. Never like I had seen before in my entire life. I had just gotten a scholarship to study Herbalism and Healing at the Northern Crescent College—the biggest werewolf College in the world—where Alpha Sebastian is the owner because he owed more than fifty percent of the shares there. Of course, it was difficult to get in. I studied harder than anyone else just so I could get on this life mission that I had begun since I was fifteen. I could've gotten a dorm room, but Lyanna said she wanted me to stay with her, and who am I to refuse such a gift from the Goddess herself? “This is so beautiful, Lya,” I complimented, smiling because that was the role I'd practiced. “This is not a home—this is an—” Lyanna winked at me as she completed the statement, “This is an empire and my father is the underground Don. So you better behave yourself and don't get on his bad side or else he is going to punish you.“ A bitter laugh bubbled in my throat. Punish me? He had done that in the past, but right now—I'm the one in charge. I'd be the one punishing him instead. I forced a smile at her, then pouted sadly. “Of course, Lya. You trust me, don't you?“ Her smile was so radiant. “Of course, Serenye.“ She grabbed my hand and led me in. “Let me show you to your room.“ She beckoned at me and made her way upstairs. I trailed behind her, scanning everything I could memorize—doors I might slip through, windows I might escape from, the faces of the staff that I needed to learn, waving to them as they bowed with that innocent demeanor on my face, but little did they know that I wasn't just deadly… I was here to burn down their world. Inside the room Lya showed me looked like it was furnished to my taste. Brown painted the walls just like I loved—unlike pink other she-wolves wanted, because my life is dark anyway. An oil painting of wolves with blood dripping down their jaws—it would've been scary for other she-wolves but for me, who had been through fire, I couldn't help but think it captured my life perfectly. Chandeliers and exquisite furniture. There was no doubt I was going to be more comfortable here than I was at the Rogue kingdom. Lyanna held my shoulders. “So, this is your room, Renye,” she said with a wide grin. “I will leave you to settle in. Make sure you come downstairs for dinner later.“ I nodded. “Thank you, Lyanna.“ She waved me away. “I'm glad I could help,” she giggled and headed out of the room. The moment the door slammed shut behind her, I let out a long, exasperated sigh. As I unpacked my bag, I stumbled upon an old and almost faded picture of my parents and I. It was my sixth year birthday with a wide and genuine smile on our faces as I blew the candle on the red velvet cake. The next day was when I lost everything. A sad smile curved my lips as I trailed my finger. s on the faded faces: “Father. Mother,” I called in a husky voice. “I'm here now.“
