I stood frozen in the doorway of the shed, my mind reeling from Elena's revelation.
"What do you mean, I don't know what I am?" I asked, my voice shaking. "I'm Princess Serenye of the Umbra Claw Pack. An Omega. That's all I've ever been."
"That's what you've been told," Elena corrected, moving back into the shed and gesturing for me to follow. "But it's not the whole truth. Sit down, Serenye. There's a lot you need to understand."
