The first day
As tears fell onto her page, the voices downstairs continue to scream at each other. She cried herself to sleep, her brother Xander came into her room and went onto the bed. Where he sleep beside his little sister, as the front door slammed shut. Their mom walking to her car and drove off in the distance, leaving four kids and her husband behind. When the young girl woke up in the morning with red puffy eyes and no brother beside her. Wondering what happened with her parents last night, who left and if they are coming back.
POV Violet
When I walked downstairs, sitting at the kitchen table is my dad and three older brothers. I guess it was my mom who left last night. My brothers decided to take me out of the house for the day. They said it is to give dad some space to think about the whole mom leaving. We went to the park where Matt my oldest brother pushed me on the swing and Joe pushed Xander my twin brother. We got ice cream, saw a movie and did so many more fun things. When we got home the house was really quite and dad's car was gone from the driveway. Joe came into the room with a piece of paper in his hand. He handed it to Matt and they both look really sad. They lead Xander and I into the living room and said to sit on the couch.
"Guys dad has decided to go on a little trip and he be back in a few months" said Matt. Then Matt and Joe left the room, while Xander and I curled up on the couch watching tv.
Later
When Xander and I woke up, Matt had just finished making dinner for us. We had pasta and meatballs with garlic bread. By the time we are done dinner and cleaning up. Matt decide that it was time for Xander and I to go to bed. I crawled into bed and Xander came into my room a few minutes later. In the middle of the night I heard my door open and close, and Xander pulling me closer to him.
When I woke up in the morning I heard a thud from downstairs. I ran downstairs to find out what happen but I ended up falling down half of the stairs. I am laying on the ground crying and my left arm bent in a weird angle.
