"According to him, we just have to follow this way straight to the office of the head master of this school."
"O-okay."
I heard him chuckled.
"What?!"
I asked him with one eyebrow up.
"I never thought that the girl who once sacrificed herself for others is now scared of this sight."
I didn't answered him. It is true that I can feel fear now in this school. Besides, I once sacrificed myself not because of other people. They are my family.
We just followed the old man's instruction. I looked around. Some students are looking at us. Some are bothered, some are amused, some are glaring at us, and some are looking at us like saying 'there are idiots who come in a place like this.
I really can't understand why I am feeling bothered. as if something is wrong in this place.
"We are here."
I stopped walking and looked at the door in front of us. The office of the head master.
"We will go in."
I just nodded at him. He knocked three times at the door before door opens.
"Come in."
There's a woman in black who opened the door for us. She is smiling but it just adds to the uneasiness I am feeling right now.
We came inside her office. She went the center table and sat on her swivel chair.
"Have a seat."
We followed her. The smiled on her face is not fading.
"I am the head master of this school. I am Victoria Constantine. I heard that you want to study here?"
"Yes. We are came to study here."
"Oh? What is your reason? There are so many schools outside."
The smile on her face even grew wider upon hearing Astrid's answers.
"Isn't it obvious? We are not the same as any other human beings."
I am just listening to them and watching the woman in black in front of us. Astrid is rude and seems like he can't even feel fear because of this woman's strange aura.
Goosebumps filled my spine when the woman looked at me and smirked.
"Okay then, I will register you now. What are your names?"
She is still smirking or smiling I am not sure.
"Astrid Hower, and this is my wife, Kholleen Hower."
"Oh~ so you are a couple already."
"Yes."
"Okay then. You are now registered here in the academy. Welcome to the school of extraordinaries. What course do you prefer?"
Astrid looked at me.
"What do you want to take?"
"Any course related to science. Doctor of Medicine."
Astrid smiled at me before looking at the head master.
"We are taking MD."
"Oh~ interesting. You both love Science."
She said while typing on her computer. Minutes later, he handed us the papers.
"Here are your schedules. Since you are taking the same course, you have the same schedule, your uniform will be given to you after a week, we will get your sizes by tomorrow. In terms of the dormitory, even though you are already a couple, you have to follow the rules. Girl's dormitory is separated from the boy's dormitory."
"We understand."
"Good. Now, as for your information, you are not allowed to go outside once you enter here. You can leave here if you already graduated, or when you die. Other reason than that is not valid to allow you to go outside of this academy."
I can feel something from her. I am really sure of that. And their rules. What kind of rules is that?
"Okay. Now that you already know your schedules, I will assign the SSGpresident to tour you around this academy for three days. You can go to school by Monday next week. Enjoy your stay here, mr. and mrs. Hower."
Goosebumps again. Her words really affects me so much or am I just overthinking?
"Thank you ma'am Constantine. We will go head."
"See you around."
We left the office. By the time I stepped outside of the room, I realized that I am really tensed inside. I sigh heavily.
"You're tensed inside. Why? Why ae you so tense?"
Astrid asked me.
"I don't know. I have this strange feeling hat something is not right here in this school."
"Ssshh, calm down okay? Maybe you're just overthinking?"
"Maybe, don't mind me."
"Let's go to the cafeteris for now. Maybe you're just tired and hungry."
I nodded. He is holding my hand the whole time. He didn't let my hand go. I felt so secured, like I am always safe when I am with him.
When we arrived at the cafeteria, we ordered foods that we usually eat outside.
