Months went by quickly, and we were all excited for the new mall and the little shops to open. The work that all the packs put in was great.

We decided to let other packs add a few shops.

It worked out great. Between Jarred, Tony , Thomas, and even Vince, they stepped up to help.

The whole process went really fast and easily.

Pete warned Vince to take it slow and not overdo it. But does Vince listen? Not even close.

Pete was prepared for that and had something already set up to help him build up his strength. And it’s a good thing his wolf is helping him out.

The mall is due to open in a month, and Vince has taken on making sure all the shops are ready to go.

Jarred, how are things going? asks Taylor. Great!! Vince has done an outstanding job making sure everything is running smoothly, while making sure everything will be set up on time.

Thomas and Tony are coordinating with all the vendors for the food court.

Jarred, I was actually surprised to see how many companies wanted to coordinate with us.

Jarred laughed. Who wouldn’t jump at a chance to work with the businessman of the year for the last ten years?

But they are not working with us; they are working with Tony and Thomas’s company.

Yes, but they are both associated with ours. Well, that is true. I will be going into the office tomorrow.

I have a meeting with a few of the Alphas about the mall.

I’m taking Tony and Thomas with me. So you’re welcome to stay at the pack tomorrow or come with us.

Jarred has this stunned look on his face. “You’re giving me a choice?” I roll my eyes at him. “Just lock him in his office,” says Ry. Jarred, this is not a trick question. You can come or stay; the choice is yours. He’s an i***t, says Ry.

Yes, he might be an i***t, but he does his job, which has let us stay close to home with our mate. Okay, I will give the i***t credit for that.

Jarred, why don’t you and Daisy go on vacation after the mall opens? You deserve it.

Really? Yes, why not! Take a month, just be back for the holidays.

I’ll go to the office with Tony and Thomas. I’m more than sure I can handle it, I said laughing.

You sure about that, boss? Get out of my office now!!!

Oh, come on, boss, OUT NOW!! Okay! Okay! I’m leaving, he says chuckling as he walks out, passing Izzy.

Oh, I’m so hurt you would say something like that, Izzy. As he fake grabs his heart, I’m wounded! Sure you are!

Do I need to have a talk with my cousin Jarred? Okay, okay, I surrender as he puts his hands in the air. I’m leaving, no need to tell her, as he laughs and takes off running down the hall.

I chuckled at his stupidity.

I walk into the office and close the door. Hey, my love, is everything okay? Yeah, I’m fine, just Jarred and his antics.

Well, that explains a lot then. Maybe I need to get a new beta. No, I don’t think you do. I am actually quite fond of him.

Even though I would never! ever! tell him that, and we both laugh.

Plus, you could not do all this without him. I know, but I don’t need to let him know that.

I told him that he needs to take a vacation. What did he say? He was going to talk to Daisy.

It would be good for them both. I think so too. Since we have almost two years before Cassius finds us.

I think he should take the time since we have everyone here to help. I want him back for the holidays.

I think we should have a big party for everyone. Just for the pack or are we inviting other packs too? Both, it’s time we made our own plans.

We know Cassius is going to find us at some point, so we need to figure out who is helping him.

And figure out how we’re going to protect the pack. Training is going great. Devin and Abby have it completely under control.

I still train with them all every morning.

Let’s have the meeting tomorrow at five.

We can work on a plan. Izzy, get with Devin and Abby, tell them about the meeting, and to make sure all the deltas are also present.

I will let Tony and Thomas know. Also, I will let Pete and Vince know.

Hey Taylor, why don’t we just invite all the packs and see what they think? This involves all of us.

That might not be a bad idea. Hey, genius says Ry! Why not just mind link everyone at the same time and save all the trouble of finding everyone? Smirks Ry.

Taylor, since it involves everyone, just send a mass mind link to everyone, and it would save us time.

Yeah, Ry just said that too, as he pulls me closer. The next few hours, we were both lost in each other’s embrace.

Even after these few years, I still can’t get enough of her and Shay. I have to think the moon goddess every day for bringing them into my life. The rest of the day went by fast. As we prepared for tomorrow’s meeting.

The Meeting

All the high-ranking ones had a meeting before the big meeting, and I went through my plan with them.

Everyone had great ideals on how to make it even better. Our Lunas’s life depended on this plan.

We all agreed that only us would know the full plan; others would only know what they were tasked to do.

Sally said it might be better even if they didn’t all know the full plan.

That way, if Cassius catches one of our members and we expect him to, they would only know what pertains to them.

Only the Alpha and their Betas would know the full plan.

Everyone agreed that was the best considering Cassius’s behavior.

Therefore, we excused everyone else, and we sat down and made a plan for the holiday party that we were setting up. Jarred and Abby will work together in our pack to set it up.

With the help of Tony and Uncle Thomas’s beta. We all agreed.

We had Sally put a protective spell on the room so no one knew the plan except who was actually in the room.

Izzy was not as worried as everyone else, and only Taylor and Sally knew what she and Taylor were capable of.

While Taylor could sense if someone had bad intentions, which was great when he met with other people.

No one could read their minds not even Sally. The moon goddess had prepared them both for everything.

We had Sally and Izzy set up a portal between packs it was really quite ingenious of her and Izzy,

sally always seems to surprise me more all the time with the things she is capable of doing.

The only way you can use the portal is if you belong to one of the packs.

Otherwise, It will send to the middle of nowhere or the territory of the rogues depending on what their intentions are.

At least it will give them a nice surprise.

Otherwise It teleports you to our banquet hall In a special room we created for it. Each pack has a room on their pack lands.
