I ran down the cold streets of arrow highway, California as fast as my legs could carry me not bothering to take a look back. my legs hurt as I stumbled on tiny pieces of particles on the floor,my breath came out fast and my heart raced faster than normal in my chest. The doors of the cottage slowly opened revealing two men talking in low tones and I quickly hid behind one of the cars not knowing what else to do.
