Chapter 37When I arrive home, I hear voices coming from the kitchen, and as I enter, I see that Patricia is talking to Michel Albert. They're sitting at the table surrounded by pots of jams and pickles and when she sees me she comes over to talk to me in a low voice. “I hope you don't mind, Danielle,” she says in a whisper, “but Michel's flight is not until seven o'clock so I brought him back here for some lunch.
