Chapter 24When I eventually finish my calls to the wayward men of the town, Paul tells me he's been informed that Raymond Dupree is being released from hospital tomorrow. I'm pleased that I'll be able to interview him before my day off on Friday. This is the weekend when I'm going to the grape harvest with Patricia. She's really looking forward to seeing her friends Frederick and Anna again, so I don't want anything to get in the way.
I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to the backbreaking work, but it looks as if Saturday will be the final day of picking and there's to be a party when the work is over. The best part about the harvest is the marvellous, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Ollee is also invited which is great news. We couldn't have left him on his own for the whole week
