Jasmine I awoke to the sound of thunder following with rain as i lifted my small body out of my bed feeling the cold wooden floor beneath my feet. I pull my hair into a messy bun and slip on my blue skirt with my schools symbol on it along with pulling on my school shirt that was white collared short sleeve shirt and the black tie that was a symbol on unmated. I hate the feeling of not knowing who my mate was and why it was taking so long to find him. I just hope when i do find him he will accept me as his. I walk downstairs to see my father leaving for work and my mother smiling her bright smile as she usually does. I kiss her cheek and run out the door and onto the bus its my senior year and im still riding the bus cause of my fear of driving even though i have my license.
