Chapter 7: The First Challenge

Isabella's POV

Napansin ko agad ang atmosphere pagpasok ko sa office. It was tense, like everyone was holding their breath. Nasa isip ko, "Is this really it? Ito na ba ‘yung unang challenge na pinaghahandaan namin?"

Nagmamadali akong pumunta sa conference room, and I saw Aiden standing at the front, looking calm but determined. Parang wala siyang kaba, pero kilala ko siya. Alam kong may konting doubt din siya, kahit na hindi niya pinapakita.

“Alright, team,” Aiden started, his voice steady. “We’re here to face our first challenge together. Mahirap ito, pero kung magtutulungan tayo, kakayanin natin.”

I felt a surge of determination listening to him. Kaya lang, hindi lahat ng team convinced. Naririnig ko ang bulungan ng ilan sa likod ko, questioning if this was even the right approach.

Bumuntong-hininga ako. "Isabella, you have to step up," sabi ko sa sarili ko. "You’re part of this team, and they need to see that you're on board."

Tumayo ako at nagsalita, “If Aiden believes we can do this, then I believe it too. Hindi tayo aabot dito kung hindi tayo handa. Let's give it our best shot.”

Nakita ko ang ilang mga teammate namin na nagdadalawang-isip pa rin, pero may ilan din na tumango, slowly gaining confidence. This was just the beginning, and I knew this challenge would test not only our skills but our trust in each other.
