Chapter 5: Unfinished Business

-RYLIE DEVYN POV-
By the way, Ryker didn't take me home because the road was dangerous at night. It's 2 am but I can't sleep. All I could see was Ryker's face smiling at me. I couldn’t deny the fact that he had a good heart but I could see the sadness in his eyes. Although, we are no longer that close he still cares about me.
Imagine, the arrogant, bad boy, and heartbreaker jerk cooked food for me. And I can’t believe he can cook such delicious food. If we just didn’t have a bad past, maybe, he would be my ideal man. After I thought about him, I decided to go to sleep.
"Good morning sleepyhead!" I heard someone talking but I ignored it, maybe it was just a dream so I continued to sleep.
A few moments later...
“Devyn! Wake up! If you don’t, I’ll kiss your cheeks or maybe your lips! Ha-ha! “ He said while laughing so I slowly opened my eyes and I could see Ryker bite his lips.
“Ryker? You're rude! ” I reacted in shock and threw a pillow at him.
"Get up my dear, it's already 10 am. If you plan to stay here and be my partner it's okay with me," He said and winked at me.
"In your dream, Mister!" Then I glared at him and then arranged my belongings.
“Ha-ha! I know, you kept thinking about me last night so you had an "eye bag" Ha-ha!" he teased me so I blushed.
"Nope! I just remember the man who stole my first kiss. Hopefully, I can see his face and touch it," I lied and smiled at him.
"Common Devyn! What if, that man was old and married? Do you still love him? Because he was your first kiss?" he asked me seriously.
"Maybe! Let's go!" My sad answer. What if, he was right? No! I trust him! He is not an old and married man.
While we were on the trip, I remembered what Ryker had said. But I know R-R is not old, I will believe Nanny Lyca because she saw him in person.
While Ryker was driving I couldn’t help but look at him, he was truly handsome. So I smiled.
"Why are you staring at me?" He asked while smiling.
"I'm not staring at you, Ryker! You wish!" Then I laughed.
"All right! You might even cry there! I know you're in love with me, right? So I will just let you love me. Ha-ha," he said while laughing.
"You know? You are so boastful! What is handsome if you have rheum in your eyes? Hahaha," then I laughed out loud.
"What?" He asked in shock and then he stopped the car and looked into his eyes. So I laughed.
"There is no rheum at all! You fooled me, Devyn! So, this is yours!“ He tickled my side.
"No! Wait! I'm sorry! I was just kidding! Ha-ha, Peace!" Then I smiled at him. And pushed his hand away.
"Next time, don’t joke like that, it’s embarrassing," He said seriously. So I laughed.
"Yes! Master!" I replied to him smiling.
When we arrived at my house.
"Ryke, you can leave now. Thanks for the ride," I said as I got out of his car.
"That's not a free ride, my dear!" he said to me as he put his hands in the pocket of his school uniform.
"In that case, how much will I pay you?" I said and glared at him.
"I don't need money! I'm a billionaire, you know?" he said arrogantly.
"Then what do you need?" I asked him angrily.
"YOU!" he said and laughed.
"Aren't you in the right frame of mind, Ryker? You're not funny!" I want to punch him.
"Okay! Let's eat breakfast together and I want you to cook for me," he ordered and entered our house. And he left me here in the garage. I can't believe, he's super demanding and bossy.
Since it was 6 in the morning, I asked my nanny to help me because I am not an expert in cooking.
After 1 hour, the food is ready.
We eat together. And I'm happy because I was able to eat with him again.
Meanwhile, Ryker asked me to ride in his car. But I don’t want to get close to him because Ryker has a lot of crazy fans. I don't want them to bother me. I want to live peacefully but when he comes, my day starts to get chaotic.
-AT SCHOOL-
" Prince, I love you!" one of his fans shouted when his car arrived at school. I don’t know how they would react if they found out I was also here in his car. What will I do?
" Prince, you're so handsome! We love you," they shouted.
"Ryke! Look! It's your fault, you forced me to get in your car. How can I get out?" I asked him angrily.
"Relax my dear, they won't be jealous of you because you're not that pretty and you're not my girlfriend either," he said arrogantly.
"You too! You're so ugly! You're feeling handsome but you know, you're not!" I said and glared at him.
" Ha-ha! You're so cute my dear!" then he pinched my cheeks.
" Don't you dare, touched me!" then I punched him in the stomach but it was hard.
" Do you like my ABS?" he said and seduced me.
" Ha-ha, you're not my type!" I said grinning.
"Really? By the way, don't think about my confession to you before because that's not true. It's just a game," he said seriously. And I was shocked and now my tears are dripping.
"Hey! I'm sorry, I was just kidding. Why are you crying?" he asked me and I could see his face that he was worried.
"Don't bother, it's none of your business," I replied and wiped away my tears.
"Devz, do you still love me? Tell me the truth!" He asked me seriously even if I would answer him truthfully, nothing would change. He was still taken.
" No!" I answered him briefly.
"Then, why are you crying?" he asked.
"Because you're a liar! I hate you," I shouted at him.
"Because you are a liar too!" he said fiercely.
Then, he opened his car.
"Let's go!" he said coldly.
"Prince, who's that girl?" his fans asked him.
"She's my P.A (Personal Assistant). No one will dare to touch her or else you'll all die," he said fiercely and he left his fans shocked.
He walked like a real prince when there were no students in the hallway. He talked to me.
"Ms. Scotley! About your punishment. Prepare my lunch in the canteen. We'll eat there later and at 4 pm you clean the music room. That's all. You can leave now!" he said as he put his hands in his pockets.
"Where are you going? We have a class, don't we?" I asked him.
"I have something to do," he said and left.
I watched him walk in the other direction. Why am I sad?
-IN THE CANTEEN-
I ordered all of his favorite foods, the table was ready now but no Ryker showed up. I was hungry but I didn’t eat because I was waiting for him.
"Ryker! Why are you so selfish!" I whispered. I wanted to kill him in my mind.
It was 12:40 pm, so I decided to eat.
"Devyn!" Ryker called my name, So, I happily searched for where the voice came from and my world collapsed when I saw him with another girl holding his hands.
"Oh! Ryker! You're late. The food is ready!" I smiled coldly at him. And I looked at the girl. She is really beautiful and sexy too. No wonder Ryker fell in love with her.
"Thanks, we're done eating. You can eat all of that," he smiled at me and winked. The fool even had the urge to smile at me! Annoying!
" Hon, will you accompany me to my Dad's office?" the girl asked him.
"All right, no problem!" he replied and they left.
Now, I know, that girl would be his girlfriend.
But I don’t care! So, I ate the foods on the table and the rest, I would give these to the street kids.
