Keira’s POV.
I blinked my eyes open, my first reaction to the streak of light running across my face. It was morning already and the new day had come with a banging headache at my doorstep. I winced in pain and involuntarily shut my eyes again. I caught a whiff of a familiar scent. Now, while I was familiar with this scent, I had never come so close to it so it gave me cause for alarm. I opened my eyes, more alert than I was when I first woke up.
I tried to move my arm and it brushed against my bare thighs under the bedsheets. My eyes went wide in shock. I peeled down to find that I was lying with no clothes on at all and I wasn’t alone.
