Chapter 40. Keira’s POV. The room was warm with colors, thanks to the flowers perched by the windowsill. The sun had begun to set and so the lights were a warm orange, mixing with the colors of the flowers and throwing the room into a kaleidoscope of colors. A magic to behold. “Isn’t it lovely?” my grandfather asked, his eyes warm with joy. A doctor strutted into the room with a smile on his face as he came over to my grandfather’s bedside. “Mr. Hampton. I’ve got good news for you, sir. Your records are starting to look as beautiful as a newborn’s.
