Chapter 62. Keira’s POV. I worked with Mae Rosetta in he kitchen to fix up a nice lunch for Jasper. He’d left the house in a flash earlier in the morning, without saying anything to me about the ‘issue’ he had at hand. It was everywhere— the news, tabloids, gossip blogs, everywhere. He never discussed any of it with me. Not even when we where at the physiotherapist’s together. That had proven to be the best time for bonding. Well, I did most of the bonding and he treated me with more respect. But it never went beyond that. I’d asked the physiotherapist for a list of meals Jasper could eat which would aid his recovery.
