Chapter 30. Keira’s POV. I sat quietly in the backseat of the car, staring out through the window. I tried to distract my thoughts with the flow of traffic. Thankfully, Jerry had taken to the wheels, turning in circles round town with no clear destination in mind. I sniffed back my tears and wiped the stray bit rolling down my cheeks. I had gotten to the end of my road as far as Jasper and our arrangement of a marriage was concerned. I wasn’t foolish enough to expect him to love me.
