Mart’s POV. We didn’t speak much after his ultimate threat. I wasn’t afraid of my brother but I couldn’t helped the feeling of unease building up in my gut as I considered the implications of his words. Jasper gave Clinton the signal and he turned the key in the ignition. “Do they have to ride with us?” I asked, glancing grudgingly at the two men on either of my sides.
