"Ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, as we celebrate yet another..." I tuned out the host as I focused on my work. My friends are having the time of their lives without me, even Scarlett.
They were at Jamila's house, chilling first and then going out. Scarlett's suggestion worked. Mr. Simon was persuaded by her suggestion. I knew just from one look that he didn't trust anyone else other than me when it came to protecting Scarlett. He was keen on that particular area. But Scarlett was persistent.
