Riley's P.O.V
Mr. Simon kept his word. He informed the school of what Mrs. Angelette and I talked about when we were in the limousine. Scarlett was still sleeping so I went to school first to ask about something, but then the Principal asked me why I was in school. He told me that Scarlett and I were exempted from class for two months. Really, it didn't have to be two months.
I had to ask the principal if we ever wanted to come to school, would it be okay(?), and he told me that it was fine. As long as Scarlett and I were happy to come to school. I called Vi to meet up with me at the cafeteria.
"Two months.." she was surprised by how little Scarlett's life was going to last. Her knees felt weak. She collapsed on the bench, holding the side of her head.
"That's.. that's too short." sh
