Riley's P.O.V
That night, after I made sure that Scarlett was fast asleep, I grabbed the keys to the car and went to Vi's house. It wasn't that late at night so there were still vehicles passing by, but the traffic lights were just staying yellow. It wasn't far from where Scarlett's condo were. And to tell you honestly, I had asked for permission from Scarlett to use the car and go see my friend. She was okay with it and she actually told me to go earlier to be fast.
I knocked on the door the moment I was in their front porch. The lights were still on inside the house but I didn't bother looking inside. I knocked again since there was no answer. After my third attempt, the door finally opens and I see Vi's scared face. My eyebrows furrowed at her scared look.
