Riley's P.O.V
It was finally the end of the day! We were already gathered at the gate of the school. We were waiting for Scarlett and Jamila to finish their businesses. Scarlett was talking to Lauren about our plans for the weekend while Jamila had something to sort out in a hurry. Apparently, Scarlett didn't tell Lauren about our plan. I think she didn't even have a plan in the first place.
Lauren came up to us with a perplexed look. We had bags and we were loading them in the truck, well, Vi and I did. She approached us and turned to Scarlett.
"What's all this?" Lauren asks.
"We're going out for the weekend," Scarlett nonchalantly answers Lauren like Lauren didn't matter. I was listening and I think Lauren saw me.
"Can we talk?" Lauren walks away, not waiting for Scarlett's resp
