Riley's P.O.V
"I came to visit a friend. Should I leave?" she asks, unsure of what to do next.
The ambiance of the room and the sudden quietness of my friends suddenly got to me. This was awkward and I don't know what to do to make this awkwardness dissipate. I really want her to go but that would be rude of me. My parents didn't teach me rudeness. They were humble parents that looks at every angle with kindness in their eyes.
I silently gulp.
"No, no, it's okay. Please, have a seat."
"Thanks-"
Scarlett suddenly stands up and leaves the room. I saw her bag and felt relieved that she left it. She was coming back later. I don't know when but I think until Lauren goes away. I feel sorry for both Lauren and Scarlett but I can't do anything in this sorry state. I can barely make any
