Riley's P.O.V
Ever since our performance, I was too focused on studies to even take a good look at the both of them as they talk in front of me. Lauren would sometimes eat with us but it hasn't been bothering me anymore. I felt relieved, honestly. Seeing them together made me think that I did the right thing. My heart was no longer in pain as I have accepted my fate.
I even talk to Lauren while she eats with us. I wasn't the one beside Scarlett anymore but that's okay. I just turn my focus on my three dorky friends. Besides, I found something new to entertain me, and that's teasing Vi. Apparently, Vi still hasn't made a move. Such a wussy.
Dawn and I would laugh whenever we would catch Vi unknowingly staring at Jamila. Only then would she realize she was staring if she catches us look
