Riley's P.O.V
Our trip ended just like that. No more happy and no more games. We just stayed in our hotel room. Jamila attended the grand opening with the others while I stayed behind. I told her that I wasn't feeling well and that I should take a rest since I'll be the one driving us back. She was okay with it. She didn't really say anything, guess she was still affected by what Lauren said.
I was angry at Lauren too for attacking my friends. But I can't say anything back because she was mostly right about me and Scarlett, and her assumptions as well. Her fear had already come true and I think she already knows that, that's why she's so insistent. We came home the next day and Scarlett and I still weren't talking. It's not like it didn't bother me but I think this is for the best.
