Riley's P.O.V
I keep running but I wasn't going anywhere. The same old black floor was still beneath me. I was almost out of breathe, but still no signs of moving. I tried to run faster, my legs crying out pain, still no use.
I struggled to catch my breath while running, so I've decided to give up. I fell on the black floor and noticed that everywhere around me was black. I was in an abyss. A dark void where nothing exists, except for me and my emotions.
Tears started to run down my cheeks. I was baffled because I suddenly started crying and what hurts more was the fact that my chest felt like it was heavy and only a limited supply of air was being delivered.
