I look around, checking every corner I could see if Lauren was in the vicinity. I keep close to Scarlet. I feel like a meercat doing this, but this is necessary. I think I'm starting to regret every word that left my mouth. Maybe I'm not ready to lose Scarlett. Maybe, maybe I don't want Scarlett to find someone else.
"What's wrong with you?" she asks and looks me up and down.
