Riley’s P.O.V My hands were shaking evidently as I gripped the steering wheel. I felt a hand on mine when I was done parking. My head directly whipped to my side, and saw Scarlett smiling at me genuinely. It was our first day as a couple. “Hey, no pressure, love.” my heart always skips a beat whenever she says that. I didn’t actually pop her the question, but I thought that was enough? No. I’m going to treat her as a princess. I gave her a tight-lipped smile and inhaled. This is me against the world - us against the world. I kissed her lips without warning and got out of the car. I opened the car door for her and she got out. She pushed me a little, her cheeks a bit red. I giggled to myself. “You’re beautiful.” I whispered to her ear. “I know.” she giggled and kissed my cheek.
