the beginning

Queen Aria's pov

"Lane she is beautiful I can't wait for Lily to meet her. she says her name is Katerina." Queen Aria says.

"She is just the cutest. and speaks so well for only being 2 years old." Queen Aria says. As Queen Aria looks at Katerina she knows that Lily will love her like she is her own flesh and blood sister. Lily has been wanting a sister for so long so King lane and Queen Aria have made it a surprise for Lily, she doesn't know she is getting a new sister. "I can't wait to see the look on her face," King Lane says.

After an accident that happened with rogues, the Queen wasn't able to conceive again so they resorted to adoption and would love Katerina as one of their own. The King and Queen promise they would tell Katerina that she was adopted when she is old enough to understand what they are talking about. the only thing they are really upset about is the fact they delivered a child after Lily and the doctor told them that their baby girl didn't make it.

"mommy where were you guys? I've been looking everywhere for you!" Lily says.

"OH MY sweet Lily I'm sorry to have worried you, your dad and I have a surprise for you." Queen Aria says to Lily.

Lily looks over to the door just as her dad walks through the door with a tiny girl in his arms. "Who is that?" Lily asks with a confused look. "she looks a lot like me, but didn't my sister die?" Lily questions.

"This is Katerina, your new sister. we adopted her today from the orphanage." King Lane explains to Lily. Lily looks at the both of them wide-eyed as tears stinging her eyes. " You mean to say I'm a big sister AGAIN!" Lily cries.

"OH, sweetheart I hope you aren't upset. We just wanted to surprise you. we know that you've wanted a sister for a while now and because your dad and I lost your sister at birth and can't make another we decided to adopt one." Queen Aria says worriedly.

"Are you kidding me! this is the greatest gift!" Lily screams as she runs up to Katerina to give her a big hug but can't reach her because she is in king Lane's arms. "Don't worry Katerina, I'll be the bestest big sister you'll ever have!" Lily says in a more calming matter seeing the horrified look on Katerina's face.

Katerina stares at Lily wide-eyed unsure of what to say because she is feeling so many emotions. She jumps down out of her new daddy's arms and runs to Lily jumping in her arms squeezing Lily in a tight hug and murmuring a thank you. she looks up at Lily and says "I wasn't sure how you'd react. I wasn't sure I'd be welcomed with open arms so thank you I'm so lucky to have a big sister like you!" Queen Aria and King Lane start tearing up because they see the love Lily holds for Katerina as well as the love Katerina holds for Lily.

"Come on I'll show you our room, no if ands or buts we are sharing a room!" Lily exclaims. "Are you sure?" Katerina questions. Lily looks at her dumbfounded and says "Are you kidding me I have a huge bed that's too big for me. we will fit in it and still have room for almost the whole castle and I want to share a room with you!" Lily says back. "this is the best day of my life!" Katerina screams.

The king and Queen just laugh at their daughters as they run up the stairs. "We made the right decision adopting Katerina today plus she looks so much like you and Lily with my eyes....... do you think the doc lied when he said that our baby girl died?". King Lane says. Queen Aria nodding her head in agreement circling her arms around her mate. " I think you might be on to something, but we also just have to keep Lily safe from the vampire King and queen as they lost their daught a couple weeks ago and wanting a trybrid to take place to keep the vampire pack in power which they do not have." Queen Aria says.

Lily's pov

"Katrina you have to stop jumping on the bed you are going to get hurt!" Lily yells worridly. "OK ok, I'll stop!" Katerina says plopping on her butt. Lily frowns wondering what to do next. "What's wrong Lily why are you frowning have I upset you?" Katerina asks tears threatening to spill out of her eyes. "OH, MY goddess no Katerina I'm just trying to think of something for us to do!" Lily says running over to Katerina and hugging her tight. "hmmmmmm why don't we go to the kitchen to see if floral will make us something to eat?" Lily asks Katerina.

Katerina looks up at her and smiles really big nodding her head in agreement. the girls make their way to the kitchen and spot floral. "Lily my beautiful princess how can I......." She stops mid-sentence as she sees Katerina. "and who might this beautiful little girl be?" floral asks. "This is my sister Katerina she just got here today." Lily exclaims. " well princess Katerina it is very nice to meet you." floral says with a big smile. Katerina steps out from behind Lily and smiles extending her hand to shake the omegas hand. "it's nice to meet you too floral." Katerina says shaking hands with floral. "wow very nice manners princess what can I get for you?" floral asks. "hhhhhmmmmmm I think you sure just surprise us!" Katerina says with a big smile.

After eating the girls walked to their father's office and barge right in. " how many times do I have to...." King Lane stops mid-yelling when he sees its his two little princesses entering his office. "OH I'm sorry I thought you were someone else please come sit." he says reaching for them. " and how can I help my little princesses today?" King Lane questions. "we were bored and wanted to come and see you and to ask why Katerina and I look so much alike?" Lily ponders, as Katerina is nodding her head in agreement. "how is it two girls look so much alike and not be related?" Katerina asks. "I'm not sure, but I'm sure we will figure it out together as a family" King Lane replies.

3 years later

Katerina's pov

"Your majesty princess Lily isn't in her chamber with Katerina!" Beta Eric exclaims.

"go and search for her we won't rest until we find her." both the king and queen yell as they cradle Katerina. "mommy, daddy how are we going to find her!" Katrina says as she sobs into her parent's chests.

"we will find her baby, I promise we will do anything and everything we can." Queen Aria whispers into her daughter's ear.

"till then we have to stay strong," replies King Lane. Katerina was so scared she'd never see her sister again she also had a feeling she wasn't just adopted into a random family but her biological parents with how easily she fit in and how much she looked like her sister and parents. "I just hope we can find her soon I already miss her so much mommy." Katerina cries into her mom's chest. "I'm sure we will find her sooner or later, but hopefully sooner." Queen Aria says with so much worry in her voice. "My love we will find her and when we do the people or whoever took her will pay I swear to you" King Lane explains replies.
