*Chapter 8*

*Vic POV*

We got to school earlier as expected, did our daily morning routine and went to our various classes.

Class wasn’t so bad after all, but Marcy is being acting all week ird since we got here which am not bothered about cos she is a girl. They’re use to changing moods.

I called Cal when the bell rang for short break to talk to him.

“Where are you both going without me,” Marcy showed up before we even step outside

“Marcy I will gist u later, but for now it kinda private,” I replied quickly and went away with Cal to a place lonely at the back of the hallway.

“Why did u call me here?” He asked

“Cos first, I don’t trust you, and am gonna find out,”

“I already told you, am who I said I am so stop trying to find out anything,” he said with a *sighs* placing his palm on his forehead in a tired manner

“Uhm, since you’re gay and use to crush on me, I planned on giving you your first kiss,” with no further ado I grap his arm pull him to myself, wrap my arms on his neck, and place my lips on his. Kissing like we own each other, before Cal snap to his sense and push me away.

“What was that all about.......?” He said wiping his moist lips

“I gave u your first kiss, since we can’t be together and u had a crush on me,”

*this kiss wasn’t so bad after all* I thought ?

“Gee, don’t try this again what if someone sees us, huhhh we would be in trouble by now,”

“Am sorry,” I said gesturing for him to go back to class

Calvin is not who he said he is, I can’t wait to share this with Marcy, to tell her Cal is playing a prank on us.

*Marcy POV*

I watched as Vic drag him close and place his lips on his from where I was peeping, with the scene in front of me I ran back to class to avoid more unintentional heartbreak. No no no no no no I just must do something.

Calvin was holding his hands on his face like someone who doesn’t wanna let go. He didn’t even get angry, and Vic I thought he said they couldn’t be together, how come he was the one who makes the first kiss move ?. Am trying hard right now not to breakdown for no reason in front of our classmate.

I keep biting my lips waiting for an idea to come up in my head, and it did. I stood up from my sit, and went outside to go meet someone.

I got to her class, and wave at her ? which she responded with a smile then stood up to come meet me.

“Hey..,”

“Hiii, how u doin’?”

“Am gr8, U?”

“Same, so why are u here?”

“Uhm, am kinda sick of Vic’s ranting on his crush for u,” I said

“Awww, really,”

“Yh, I mean it kinda obvious,”

“Ohhh, well I like him too, but.......”

“But what?”

“I don’t know, I mean even tho we both like each other, I can’t make the first move,” she said shyly

*Smiles* “But u can make him confess,”

“Yh I guess,”

“Cassie right?”

“Yeah,”

“He chase after you the first day u got here, I mean it kinda of a love at first sight something,”

“Okay, maybe I might get ready to make a move,”

“Thanks a lot,”

“Do u have his number?”

“His my best friend, why won’t I have his number,”

“Let me go get a book and a pen then,” she replied walking back to her class.

I succeeded in manipulating her to make a move on Vic, with her and Vic together, Cal will feel like they don’t truly belong together. Then I can also make Cal fall in love with me.

“*+234-7066-567-867*” I wrote inside the piece of paper in her hand

“Thanks,” she replied departing back to her class

I keep smiling as I walk back to my class.

~Cal POV~

I walked back to class trying not to think about the kiss I had with my best friend. I should have make him know it gross, but I played along to prove is suspicion wrong, I even kissed him long enough to actually make him think am saying the truth. The difference between the kiss we had, and the one with a girl is that we both are boys.

I went straight to the class captain to discuss our plans with him

“Hey..,”

“Calvin you’re talking to me?” He said looking around while jabbing a finger across his chest

“Uhm, yeah,”

“U never talk to me,”

“U never engage in any conversation with me,”

“True,”

“I need your help,”

“What is it?”

“Am hoping we could have a platform or group whatsoever online," I said occupying the empty space beside him

“Really, but some of us don’t have a phone,”

“This is 2022 man,”

“So.....”

“And, how did u know,”

“Just help me get the least of attendance with everyone’s w******p number on it,”

“How am going to get that,”

“Simple,” I stood up and went straight to the front of the class and slam my hand on the front desk to get the whole class attention. After getting the full attention I begin “We all are seniors, and teenagers here, I want us to have an online group for just either all SS3 or just our class, where we can talk a lot more and interact more with each other. Many of u here have never even spoken to me before or the other way around, but with the group we get to talk with each other, chat, and gist alot bout our school, teachers and a lot more. So if u’re interested just walk towards the Class Captain, and your w******p details so he can add.” I ended my speech. No claps, no stares, no glares, just some students standing up to meet our class captain which I never even know his name.

I walked over to go meet Vic & Marcy who walked in on me giving my speech

“Well, first plan initiated,” I said,as I got to them with a wink ?

I sat down and prepare for my upcoming class as the teacher walk in.

And why do Marcy keep smiling?.
