“Hey wait up,” I shouted at the new sweet beautiful dream one-week new girlfriend walking ahead of me
She turned her head glancing around for who called her.
“Uhm hey it me, am Vic, Victor Sanchez” I introduced with a raised brow for a cute look
“Okay, hi” she greeted instead
“Yh what your name?” I asked getting annoyed with her innocent attitude
“Ohhh, Uhm am Cassie Blake” she replied
“Cool cass......
“U can just call me cassie “ she cut in sharply
“Ok,mind if I walk u down the hall to know u better”
“Yh sure “
“Those are my two best friends,” I pointed at Calvin and Marcy
“Really wow they’re cute” she said smilingly
“Thanks, so why are u in my country like yuh white and this is a black school am confused” I asked
She smile then said “well my mom is a African and Nigerian at it, and dad kinda like all her foreign dishes so maybe staying here won’t be a bad idea I wish”
“Really your dad found our dishes alluring, how cool” I replied
“What of u” I added
“Well nice, since I just got here “ she said
“I think I like you” she added smiling.
We got to the assembly ground.
“See you by lunchtime “ I said walking towards my friends and waving bye at her.
That wasn’t so bad afterall.
Oh yeah am “Victor Sanchez” by name. The first, and only child of My parents. We had the perfect lives. Both mom, and dad are into same business. Selling all this modern stuffs (e.g mini groceries, moisturizers, all kind of stuffs except phones or techs). We live in our already built three bedrooms apartment.
All my life have been control. Don’t know if it cos am the only child or it normal. I kinda wish my life is like that of those foreign teenagers on TV, but it isn’t so I live it, and am damn ready to make a change.
“So u asked her out” Marcy said as soon I get to them
I starred at her with a grim look ?
“What?” She defend
“It you we’re talking about” she added
“Don’t u guys ever get tired of being a virgin” I said pulling both their ears
“Gee, we’re in public” Calvin said in a whisper
“Am tired of virginity” I replied
“Am gon disvirgin sooner or later” I added
“Lemme know the p*ssy that disvirgin you when yuh done okay” Calvin replied with Marcy smiling weirdly
“Marcy are u okay?” I asked

“But I sure hell saw u smiling weirdly”

“So, why r u smiling”
“Should I be crying”
“Stop all this” Calvin whisper yelled
*Scoffs*
It time to sing the National Anthem.

“Shut up u can never learn how to sing it as old as u are” Calvin mocked
“And his even a Nigerian for god’s sake” Marcy added
“Y’all should leave me alone” I defended, and continue singing my rubbish

We’re in the lab having our first class which is Biology . Oh gosh my brain is having a hard time registering the teacher’s teaching in my head, and I can’t even talk or disturb my own best friends cos they’re occupied with the teaching.
I narrow my eyes slowly around the class till they met those clear brown eyes ? of Cassie. I smiled, and mouthed “hey” to her
She also replied “focus”
I smiled again, but this time the teacher caught me.
Good enough.
“Uhmmmm hi ma’am” I greeted
“What was the last thing I said” She questioned immediately
“Something about the topic on the board” I respond with a shunning smile
The whole class hate me cos they just erupted in a under table giggles including my besties
“s**t!!!!!” I said inwardly
“See yourself out Mr Sanchez “ She ordered
Great job Vic!!! Now am sent out.
I marched out solemnly not after winking at Cassie .
I walking back to class when I heard this deep man principal’s voice. How worse could my day get.
“What are u doing outside roaming around while others are in the classroom studying Mr Sanchez” He asked sternly
Ofcos their is no explanation that could save me from this, I couldn’t probably say I was sent out my previous class instead I stare blankly
“Mr Sanchez explain yourself “ He said again with his voice getting more stern
“Sir???!!”
“Follow me” He said turning away
And that’s all it takes for my day to be ruined.
